CNC TIPS
#1 Conversational Cut and Paste Function in Edit
Centurion CNC TIPS are applicable to the Milltronics Centurion I, V, 6, and 7 controls.
This function is accessed by pressing [F2] View. This allows for copying or moving events within a single
conversational program. It will not copy or move events from one program to another.
To copy or move an event or group of events they must first be placed in a block. To set a block, move the
cursor with the [F7] and [F8] arrow keys. Press the [F1] Begin key to set an event as the start of a block. Move
the cursor to the last event to be placed in the block, then press the [F2] End key to set that event as the end of
the block. The events in the block will then be highlighted (see illustration below).
If only one event is to be specified, the [F1] Begin and [F2] End keys are pressed on that one event. The
program setup page (event 0) and the end of program page (final event) cannot be part of a block.
Deletes any highlighted events.
Duplicates the highlighted block in front of the event where the
cursor is positioned. The events will remain where they are origi-
nally, and duplicates will appear at the cursor position when copy
is pressed. The duplicate events will become the designated block.
Events cannot be copied in front of the program setup event 0.
Repositions the highlighted block in front of the event where the
cursor is located. The block will no longer appear in its original
position.
