Instructions
1. Start with one of the 12” x 12” pieces of white cardstock paper.
a. Lay it flat on the table.
2. Use the paper cutter to cut a 5” x 5 3/8” sheet out of the blue gingham paper.
a. Apply crafter’s tape to each of the four corners of the plain, white side of the
paper (the back).
b. Stick the 5” x 5 3/8” onto the white cardstock paper in the upper left corner. The
5” edge should be lined up with the top of the sheet, and the 5 3/8” side should be
along the left edge of the white cardstock.
c. Place a book on top of the paper so that it will stick well to the cardstock.
3. Cut a 6 7/8” x 8” sheet from the leftover gingham paper while the book sits on the other.
a. Apply crafter’s tape to each of the four corners of the back side.
b. Stick this piece of paper onto the bottom right corner of the white cardstock. The
6 7/8” side should be lined up with the bottom of the paper and the 8” side should
be on the right side of the cardstock.
c. Place the book on top of this sheet of paper for it to stick well.
4. Cut a 5” x 6 ½" piece of paper from the distressed yellow pattern paper.
a. Apply crafter’s tape as described in the steps above.
b. Stick this sheet of paper on the lower left corner of the cardstock (with the 5” side
along the bottom edge and place the book on top to seal the tape.
NOTE: There should be a 1/8” gap between each of the pieces of paper cut as shown here.
5. Cut a 6 7/8” x 3 7/8” sheet of the yellow chevron paper. The chevron should run
horizontally going the long way.
a. Apply crafter’s tape to the back and stick this paper in the upper right corner of
the cardstock.
b. Place the book on top to seal this paper and set this aside.
NOTE: At this point, the scrapbook page should look like the photo below.
6. Use the paper cutter to cut the 4 x 6 photos to 3 ½" x 4 ½".
7. Trim the 5” x 7” photo to be 4 ¾" x 6 ¾".
8. Frame each of the photos using the second sheet of white cardstock paper.
a. Cut two 3 ¾" x 4 ¾" pieces of white cardstock.
b. Apply crafter’s tape to the back of each of the 3 ½" x 4 ½" pictures.
c. Stick each picture in the center of a piece of the white cardstock that you just cut.
d. Cut a 5” x 7” piece of cardstock and use the steps in b. and c. to frame the 4 ¾" x
6 ¾" photo.
NOTE: Here is an example of what a framed photo should look like.
9. Stick the framed pictures onto the 12” x 12” piece of paper from steps 1 through 4.
a. Put crafter’s tape on the back of each corner of the framed photos.
i. Apply somewhat liberally to make sure they stick.
b. Apply the 5” x 7” framed photo horizontally. The top left corner of the frame
should be roughly 1 ¼" from the top edge of the 12” x 12” sheet and 3/8” from
the left edge.
i. Place the book on top of the photo once placed to seal it.
c. Stick the horizontal 3 ½" x 4 ½" framed photo underneath the 5” x 7” one so that
the right edges of the frames line up. Leave roughly 1/8” between the top and
bottom of the two frames.
i. Seal with the book.
d. Stick the vertical frame on the right side of the other two photos, roughly 1/8”
away. Leave 1 ½" from the top of the 5” x 7” frame to the top of this frame.
i. Seal with the book.
ii. Refer to the final product (at the end) for a rough idea of the photo
placement if confused.
10. Choose a word or name to spell with the blue sparkly letter stickers. Spell the word out
with the stickers on bottom edge of the distressed yellow paper in the lower left corner.
a. For example, I chose the word, “SISTERS” shown here.
11. Pick a label from the label pad, and stick it onto the yellow chevron paper equidistant
from the edges of horizontal 5” x 7” photo and the vertical one.
a. *OPTIONAL: Use the navy blue marker to write a word/name/place/year of your
choosing on the label. For example, I chose the year 2019.
12. Place two arrow stickers.
a. Stick one above the 5” x 7” photo on the yellow chevron paper, pointing to the
right.
b. Stick the other on the top left side of the horizontal 3 ½ x 4 ½ photo, pointing
down.
13. If there are any other places you want to put a sticker, label, or to write something, feel
free to take some artistic freedom to make your page a little bit unique.
Below is a photo of the finished scrapbook page.
