SSG Funding Undertaking Guide

This document outlines the terms and conditions for a participant to receive 70% funding from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) through Singapore Management University's SMU Academy for a Data Protection Management Programme from 26-28 August 2019. The participant declares that they understand they must 1) be a Singapore citizen or permanent resident, 2) attend and pay for the program, and 3) complete an evaluation to qualify for funding. If the participant fails to obtain funding due to withdrawal, not meeting requirements, or providing inaccurate information, they or their company must pay the outstanding course fee and GST. SMU Academy will not be liable for any rejection of funding by SSG.

I, the undersigned Participant hereby declare that I have applied for the 70% SSG Funding (“Funding”) provided by the SkillsFuture
Singapore (SSG) through Singapore Management University’s SMU Academy (“SMU-A”) for the abovementioned Programme and
hereby understand, undertake and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. Participant should be a Singapore Citizen / Singapore Permanent Resident (PR).

2. Participant must meet the following programme requirements for the Programme in order to qualify for the Funding:

i. Attended the Programme


ii. Paid for the Nett Fee

3. Participant should duly complete the Programme's End-of-Course Evaluation Form.

4. Participant and / or his / her Company (if sponsored by Company) is liable to pay SMU-A the outstanding Fee and prevailing
Goods & Services Tax (GST) in the event he / she fails to obtain the Funding due to:

i. withdrawal from the Programme after commencement date;


ii. failure to meet any of the Programme requirements;
iii. inaccurate personal / company information provided for registration; and / or
iv. exclusion of Funding by SSG. Please note that the approval of Funding application is at the sole discretion of SSG.

Please take note that the reason for any exclusion of Funding shall not be disclosed and any such decision shall be final. Any
appeal for Funding application shall not be entertained.

I hereby undertake that SMU-A shall be fully indemnified and held harmless in respect of any liability, costs, expenses, damages
arising out of a rejection of Funding application by SSG.
