2B ACTIVITY: Read the following and the answer per group (write the names of group
members). Submit your assignment with filename Group# EE2B Ch8 Activity on or before
May 15, 2020. (50 pts.)

1. What is a business pitch and what its purpose or importance? Give the types of
business pitch and describe each. (15 pts.)
2. Supposing you are an aspiring entrepreneur, and you need additional investments
for your enterprise. You will be delivering a pitch to a group of investors, state your
nature of business, (ether a product or services or both) then write a simple of pitch
of the product/business. (10 pts.)
3. Read You be the VC 8.1 Company: Nila (page 281) and answer the following:
a) Q&A: Based on the material covered in this chapter what questions would you
ask the firm’s founders before making your funding decision? What answers
would satisfy you? (5 pts.)
b) Decision: If you had to make your decision on just the information provided in
the pitch and on the company’s Web site, would you fund this company? Why
or why not? (5 pts.)
c) Given the nature of its business, what financial management issues should Nila
be most attentive to and why? (5 pts.)
4. Read You be the VC 8.2 Company: Cool Palms (page 281-282) and answer the
following:
a) Q&A: Based on the material covered in this chapter, what questions would
you ask the firm’s founders before making your funding decision? What
answers would satisfy you? (5 pts.)
b) Decision: If you had to make your decision on just the information provided
in the pitch and on the company’s Web site, would you fund this firm? Why
or why not? (5 pts.)
