BACC 381 Accounting Information Systems

Fall 2018
Individual Term Project

Develop your Relational Database System using the knowledge and skills we
learned from the class.

1. Introduce your problem and describe your project to solve the problem. You can
utilize exercise samples such as Company.adccdb, MyDB.mdb and
SSRomney.accdb.
2. Design your E/R model, which shows the logical data structure in your system.

3. For physical implementation, encode the E/R design into MS-Access. Include
Constraints for Entity Integrity & Referential Integrity. Demonstrate various
Data Integrities features in Access.

4. For realistic business decision-making and IS-audit, conduct Queries in terms of


Relational Algebra Formulation & SQL Statements.

Upload 10-20 pages of Word or PDF file using Blackboard System. You will need
PowerPoint slides for a 6-minute presentation.
