TP 101

This document discusses proper keyboard typing techniques and ergonomics. It provides guidelines for correct keyboard posture including sitting up straight with feet flat, elbows at sides, and fingers curved on home row keys. Improper techniques can lead to fatigue, injuries like carpal tunnel syndrome, while proper techniques increase speed, efficiency and prevent issues. Workstation setup should involve the keyboard directly in front and at table edge with copy to the right and feet supported if not flat on the floor. Frequent breaks and using keyboard shortcuts instead of the mouse are also recommended.
