concerns: 3062-003 disposable sample cup


4106-196 sampler ring for Eclipse Plus
6001-201 cuvette carrier for Vitalab 200

The sample cup 3062-003 is used in the sample ring of the sampler of Eclipse Plus
and in the cuvette carrier of the Vitalab 200. Because of variations between batches
of cups it might be possible that the cups fit tightly in the carrier.

Therefore the sampler ring (4106-196) of Eclipse Plus and the Cuvette Carrier (6001-
201) for Vitalab 200 now have larger holes for the sample cups.

It might be possible that customers receive new batches of cups that do not fit well in
their existing sampler ring or cuvette carrier. Therefore you will find enclosed in this
shipment a tools for easy enlargement of the holes in the carriers.

For enlarging the holes mount the tap wrench on the drilling tool and gently move the
drilling tool, while turning, completely through the holes. Make sure to clean the
carrier well after modification and that no burrs (drilling rests) are left!

Modification of the cuvette carrier

Remove the 4 screws on the side of the cuvette carrier (see drawing 1) and shift top
and bottom part from each other. Only the vertical holes in the plastic top part need
enlargement! After modifying and cleaning of the top part mount the carrier again.
