WHAT IS

YOUR GOAL?

What is a goal? Many people question themselves what their goals are and
what they want to do to succeed in life. Goals are the future you wish to
endure and accomplish. They effect people in a way that makes them
determined and confident. You set goals in life to live up to your own
expectations and be proud. Everyone has them either big or small. Also, they
can be a part of your dreams. Dreams that you could’ve had as a child and
they develop as you grow older.
One of my biggest dream from childhood was to do law. My attraction to law
originates form my interest in justice and rewards. Law is a natural part of
ethical system as , laws are followed by everyone. Therefore, I decided to
pursue a career in legal field so that I could be able to play a role in
reinforcement of right-doing, and also assisting others in times of difficulty.
A profession I have always admired and would be a great fit for me is
practicing law. I have always enjoyed saying what was on my mind and
interacting with people. I enjoy long conversations and arguing thoughts and
opinions. To be perfectly honest I like to be right and use logic and reasons to
justify my ideas. Life is a constantly changing maze, where the question of
right or wrong defines acceptable modes of behaviour. However, what
differenciates right from wrong? What is the process behind deciding whether
something is quintessentially right or wrong? The answer is LAW.
Law has always been of great interest of me, my curiosity of the subject stems
from younger years which consisted of frequent visits to the courts, and
seeing judges respectively in action. Since then I have been completely drawn
to a life of legal system. Since my father is a judge and he has always been a
great inspiration for me and this is one of the main reason for my so much
interest in law. I would be studying a subject that complements my nature, my
instinct to speak for others and challenge my understanding of the laws that
our society is built upon.
Being highly determined, committed and tenacious are quality which, I
believe, would stand me in a very good stead on a law degree. And combined
with my skills of time management and perseverance, I confidently feel that
studying law at University would truly bring the best out of me, enabling me to
contribute much to my institution.
