Act 2 Character Analysis

Directions: You will work collaboratively in groups to perform a character analysis for your groups assigned
character. The breakout room number displayed for you in Zoom will correlate with your assigned character.
Working in groups, you will analyze the excerpts from Act 2. The text in the left side of the page in the solid

Each group will complete their character analysis using Padlet. To access the Padlet, click on the blue character’s
name.
Each and every group member MUST post in the Padelt and include their name in the post (i.e. Mr. Ricks: In this
excerpt, we see Mercutio…).

Also, each character analysis MUST include the six following traits (six posts):

● Development: How has the character developed or changed since Act 1?

● iNfluence: What outside influence(s) act upon this character? Think about what motivates the character.
● Conflict: What conflict/problem is the character facing or presenting?
● Emotions: What emotions is the character feeling or expressing? How does the character feel when they
carry out the action?
● Repercussions: How do the character’s actions affect the other characters? How do the character’s actions
foreshadow what will happen next?
