Auxiliary do / does.

We use the auxiliary do and does to make interrogative and negative sentences in
present.
To make questions (Para hacer preguntas)

to answer… Important!

Don’t = do not
 do you cook every day? Yes, I do/ no, I don’t.
 does she cook every day? Yes, she does / no, she doesn’t. Doesn’t = does not
Negative form.

Example:

Remember you can use the long form


or the contractions.

Do not = don’t
Does not = doesn’t
