USING HAND TOOLS

Background Information for Learners

A tool is a handheld device that aids in accomplishing a task. For every job there
is the right tool. Make sure that you are familiar with the correct use of each tool and that
the correct tool is used for the current task. Skilled use of tools and software makes the job
less difficult and ensures that tasks are performed properly and safely.
For this task use appropriate hand tools and equipment according to task
undertaken and observe proper safety.
