T5: Giving directions

A. Look at the map. Where is each place? Write two sentences. Example: The
laundromat is on the corner of Yellow Street and Green Street. It’s next to the
post office. / Observe el mapa. ¿Dónde está cada lugar? Escriba dos oraciones.
Ejemplo: La lavandería está en la esquina de Green Street con Yellow Street.

1. Nail Salon: The Nail salon is next to the bakery.


The Nail salon is across from the video store.
2. Flower Shop: The flower shop is on the corner of blue street and orange street.
The flower shop is on blue street.
3. Video Store: The video store is on the corner of yellow street and green street.
The video store is on green street.
4. Clothing Store: The clothing store is across from the souvenir shop.
The clothing store is on the corner of blue street and orange
street.
5. Café: The café is netx to the skysraper.
The café is on yellow street.
B. Look at the map. Give these people directions. Use the phrases in the box./

1. Rachel is looking for the Souvenir Shop: walk down yellow street. Turn right on
blue street. Turn left on orange street. It`s on the right.
2. Kevin is looking for the Laundromat: Walk up orange street. Turn left on green
street. Turn left on yellow street. It`s on the right.
3. Diane is looking for the Nail Salon: Walk to yellow street. Walk up yellow street.
Turn left on green street. It`s on the right.
4. Peter is looking for the Grocery Store: Walk up green street. Turn right on yellow
street. Turn right blue street. It`s on the right.
5. Michael is looking for the Video Store: Walk up yellow street. Turn left on green
street. It`s on the left.

When you finish your work save the file in your computer and send it to your instructor
