The Conditions of ash-Shahadah (la ilaha ila Allaah) None has the
Right to be Worshipped but Allaah Alone

The First: Knowledge, encompassing negation and verification

The Second: Certainty, and knowledge is perfected through it, and it


negates doubt and uncertainty

The Third: Sincerity, which negates ash-shirk, which is associating


others along with Allaah in worship

The Fourth: Truthfulness, which negates insincerity

The Fifth: Love for the statement, and that which it signifies, and
contentment with that

The Sixth: Compliance with all that is


required by these words, and that is, the obligatory acts, sincerely
for Allaah alone, seeking His pleasure

The Seventh: Acceptance, which negates rejection
