BSNL 4G PLUS Working Procedure
BSNL is offering 4G Plus services through WiFi hotspots. In this service BSNL is providing upto 20
Mbps Internet speed. There are three options to connect WiFi. Three types of WiFi signals (SSID) under
WiFi hotspot will be available.
1. BSNL 4G plus.
2. BSNL Broad Fi.
3. BSNL WiFi.
BSNL 4G plus:
This SSID is for Existing BSNL Mobile Data Customer. Settings can be done through WiFi setting of
handset. Data counted from Mobile Data pack.
BSNL Broad Fi:
This SSID is for BSNL Broad Band Customer. They can login with Broadband username and password.
This can be done through App available at Google Play Store or from WiFi settings of handset directly.
Data counted from Broadband account.
BSNL WiFi:
This SSID is for other than BSNL customers. First 100 MB is free. After that customer needs WiFi
physical voucher or can recharge online.

MOBILE DATA OFFLOADING SERVICES FROM BSNL
using 4G Plus !
This service is used to offload data from BSNL
mobile – Prepaid &Postpaid, with valid DATA
Plan/balance in your account.
The procedure mentioned below is applicable only
for EAP SIM compatible mobile hand sets.
(For Non EAP mobile scenario kindly refer to the
procedure using Portal)
STEP 1 :Turn on your WLAN/WiFi in mobile hand
set.The list of SSIDs will be shown as above.
STEP 2 : Choose BSNL 4g Plus.You will be
redirected to a menu as in the next page.
STEP 3:Choose the EAP method as SIM.
STEP4 :If you are having dual sim hand sets, select bsnl mobile
sim.
For Single Sim mobiles choose the default option .
Click on connect
STEP 5 : Wait for few seconds till it get connected.
STEP 5: YOU ARE CONNECTED.ENJOY BROWSING!!
NOTE :Cross check by the public ip allotted.

redirected to a menu as in the next page.

A) Select PEAPas the EAP Method.
B) MSCHAPV2 as PHASE 2 AUTHENTICATION.
C) Identity is your Broadband username with “@bsnl.in” as suffix.
For eg : bbusername@bsnl.in
D) Password is your Broadband password.Save and Connect

BSNL WiFi Connection
Steps to connect:
1) Select the Wi-Fi SSID - “BSNL WiFi”
2) Click on “Connect”.
3) User should be redirected to Captive Portal
4) User should follow the process for Subscription/Login to get Internet access

1. Enter the mobile number and click on “Get PIN”.
2. User will receive PIN as SMS in his inbox and same needs to be entered on the textbox “Enter
PIN” available on the below screen.
3. Click on ‘Login’.
4. Clicking on “Cancel’ button, user will be redirected to previous screen.
5. User will be successfully logged in and the success screen with remaining
Quota will be displayed.

1.1 Premium Service
1.1.1 Buy a Coupon
User can use coupon code.
User enters the coupon code in the respected field and clicks on “Get PIN”
User will receive PIN as SMS in his inbox and same needs to be entered on the textbox “Enter
PIN” available on the below screen.
User clicks on “Subscribe” button.

1.1.2 Pay Online
User selects the desired plan from the list.
User enters his mobile number.
Click on “Get PIN”.
User will receive PIN as SMS in his inbox and same needs to be entered on the textbox “Enter
PIN” available on the below screen.
User clicks on “Subscribe” button.
After this user will be redirected to payment gateway screen where user can select the desired
payment option. Post successful payment transaction, User will be redirected to Captive Portal
success screen.
User can do login process with registered mobile number and PIN received during registration.
