 Don't Throw Food in Garbage
Don’t eat while reclining Anas ibn Maalik ‫ريض هللا عنه‬ narrated

Prophet ‫ صلى الله عليه وسلم‬said

Eating “He ‫صلى الله عليه وسلم‬said,
‘If any one of you drops a piece of
Sunnahs food, let him remove any dirt
from it and eat it,
“I do not eat and not leave it for
whilst I am the Shaytaan.’
He ‫صلى الله عليه وسلم‬said,
reclining.” ‘For you do not know where
in your food the blessing is.’”
(Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5399)

 Rinse Mouth After Eating

Abu Hurayrah ‫ ريض هللا عنه‬narrated
Basheer ibn Yassaar ‫ريض هللا عنه‬narrated

Eating Suwayd ibn al- Nu’maan told him that

Prophet ‫صلى الله عليه وسلم‬never

Sunnahs they were with the Prophet

but he did not find anything but some

 Dua after eating
The Messenger of Allah )‫ )ﷺ‬said: ِ‫ا ْْلم ُد ِه‬
‫لل اله ِذي أَطْ َع َم ِِن َه َذا‬ َْ
ٍ ْ َْ ‫َوَرَزقَنِ ِيه ِم ْن غَ ِْي‬
“Whoever eats food and then says:

Al-hamdulillāh, Eating ‫ة‬ٍ ‫ق‬ ‫َل‬‫و‬

‫ّ ََ ُ ه‬ ‫ِن‬ِ ‫م‬ِ
alladhī at`amanī Sunnahs
hādha wa razaqanīhi
All praise is due to
min ghairi hawlin minnī,
Allah who fed me this
wa lā quwwatin and granted
his past sins shall be forgiven.”

'In Your Name I have laid down on my side. If
You take my soul, then have mercy on it. If
You release it, then preserve it in the manner
in which You preserve the men of right
action."

Recite 4 quls before sleeping
﷽

َّ‫﴾ َ اََّلَّ َا ۡع َُبدُ َّ َما‬۱﴿ ‫قُ ۡل ّٰا ََّٰيُّيه َا َّۡال ّٰك اف ُر ۡو ََّن‬
‫﴾ ََّو َ اَلَّ َان ُ ُۡۡتَّ َّّٰعَبادُ ۡو َنَّ َماَّا‬۲﴿ ‫تَ ۡع َُبدُ ۡو ََّن‬
Sleeping ‫دت‬ َّۡ ‫﴾ ََّو َ اَلَّ َاَنَ َّعَابادَّ ماَّ َع ََب ه‬۳﴿ ‫َا ۡع َُب َُّۚد‬
Sunnahs َُّ‫﴾ ََّو َ اََّلَّ َان ُ ُۡۡتَّ ّٰعاََّبدُ ۡو َنَّ َم ااَّ َا ۡعََُّبد‬۴﴿
﴾۶﴿َّ‫ـُكَّ اَيۡ ُن ُ ُۡك َََّّو ا َِلَّ اَ ۡي ان‬ ۡ ُ َ‫﴾َّل‬۵﴿
Say: Oh you who turn away
I do not worship what you worship,
nor do you worship what I worship.
And I will not worship what you
worship,
Nor will you worship what
Abu Daood (5055) I worship.Your way is yours,
Al Thirmidhi (3400)
and my way is mine.

Say: He is Allah, the One! Allah,

He begetteth not nor was

َّ‫َّشَّ َح ا‬ َّ ‫َّفَّ َُّصدُ ۡو ارَّالنَّ ا‬
ۙ‫ا‬ ۡ ‫ااَّل ۡىَّي ُ َو ۡس او ُۙ ا‬
﴾۵﴿َّ َ‫َح َسد‬ Sunnahs ﴾۶﴿َّۙ‫﴾َّ ام َنَّالۡ اجن اةَّ َوالنَّ اا‬۵﴿
Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of
the Daybreak. From the evil of mankind, The King of
that which He created; From the mankind, The god of
evil of the darkness when it is mankind, From the evil of the
intense, And from the evil of sneaking whisperer, Who
malignant witchcraft, And from whispereth in the hearts of
the evil of the envier when he mankind, Of the jinn and of
envieth. mankind.
 Narrated Abu Hurairah ‫ريض هللا عنه‬

that the Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬said:

"Indeed there is a Surah in the
Qur'an of thirty Ayat,
Sleeping which intercedes for a man
Sunnahs until he is forgiven.
It is [Surah]
Tabarak Alladhi
Biyadihil-Mulk."

َّ‫َّاّللَّن َ ۡف ًَّساَّ ااَل َُّو ۡس َعهَاََّّلَهَاَّ َما‬ َّ‫ّٰا َم َنَّالر ُس ۡو ُلَّ اب َماَّا ُا ۡن از َلَّ االَ ۡي اهَّاَّم ۡن اَّرب ٖه‬
ََّ ‫َك َسبَ ۡت ََّوعَلَ ۡۡيَاَّ َماَّا ۡكَّت َ َسبَتَّۡ ََّربنَا‬
َّ ‫ََّلَّتُ َؤا اخ ۡذَنَ ا‬ ‫َّك ّٰا َم َن اَِّب ّٰ اّلل ََّوََّم ّٰلٰٓٮ َكت ٖهَّا‬
َّ‫ََّت ام ۡلَّعَلَ ۡينَ اا‬
ََّۡ ‫اا ۡنَّن اسيۡنَ ااَّ َا ۡوَّ َاخ َۡطَّۡا َََّۚن ََّربنَا ََّو ََل‬
َّ‫َوَّالۡ ُم ۡؤ امنُ ۡو ََّن ُ ل‬

َّ‫َّاَّل ۡي َنَّ ام ۡنَّقََّۡب النَاَّ َۚربنَا ََّو ََل‬
‫ل ا‬ َّ َ َ‫ۡصا َ ََّمَكَّ َ ََحلۡ َتههَّع‬
ً ۡ ‫اا‬ ‫ْ َا َح ٍَّد‬ ََّ ۡ َ ‫َو ُك ُتَباه َو ُر ُس ا َّٖل قف َََّلَّن ُ َف ار ُ َّب‬
َّ‫ُ ََت املۡنَاَّ َما َََّلَّ ََاقَ ََّةل ََّنَاَّ اب اهَّ ََّۖوا مع ُفَّ َعنَّا ََّوا مغ اف مر‬ ‫ام ۡن هَّر ُس ا َّٖلقف َوقَالُ َّۡواَّ َ اْس ۡعنَ َاو َا ََ َّۡعنَا‬
َّ‫نُصَنَ َّعَ َلَّالم َق مو ام‬ ‫لَنَا ََّو مار َ مَحنَاََّّۚ َأ َنتَّ َم مو ََلَنَ َّفَا ُ م‬ ﴾۲۸۵﴿ ‫ي‬ َُّ ۡ ‫ُغ ۡف َران ََكَّ َربنَا ََّوَّالَ ۡي َكَّالۡ َم اص‬
﴾۲۸۶﴿‫ين‬ ََّ ‫ا مل ََك اف ار‬ The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him
Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity.
from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them
It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it
will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and
do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our His messengers, [saying], "We make no distinction
Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon between any of His messengers." And they say, "We
those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we
have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have hear and we obey. [We seek]
mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to
disbelieving people." You is the [final] destination."
 Dua when you see
a bad dream
Narrated Abu Qatadah ‫ريض هللا عنه‬

‫َا ُع مو ُذ اَِّب اهللَّ ام مَّن َ ا‬

َّ‫شَّالش مَّي َط اان‬
Sleeping ‫ا‬‫ھ‬َ ‫ش‬
‫ا‬ َ َّ‫َو‬
“I seek refuge with Allah from the evil
Sunnahs of Satan and its (i.e. dream’s) evil.”

 Recite Ayat ul kursi when go to bed
َّ‫اّلل َ اََّلَّ اا ّّٰلََّ ااَلَّه ََُّو الۡ َح هـىَّالۡ َقیه ۡوَُّم ََل‬
‫ج‬ ُ ّٰ
َّ‫َتَ ۡ خ ُُذ هه اَّس نَةَّو ََلَّن ََّۡومَّ َ هَّّلَّ َما اَّفَّالسَّ ّٰم ّٰو ات‬
َّ‫ضَّ َم ۡنَّ َذاَّا اَّل ۡىَّي َ ۡش َف َُّع اع ۡندَ اهه‬ َّ ‫َّاَل ۡر ا‬ َ ۡ ‫َو َما اَّف‬
َّۚ‫ااَل ا اَِّب ۡذ ان َّٖهَّي َ ۡع َ َُلَََّّماَّب َ ۡ ََّْ َايۡ ادُّيۡ ا ۡم َََّّو َماَّ َخلۡ َفه َُّۡم‬
Sleeping ‫َو ََل ُ ا‬
َّ‫ش ٍء اَّم ۡنَّ اعلۡ ام ٖهاَّ ااَلََّّ اب َما‬ َّۡ َ ‫َُّي ۡي ُط ۡو َنَّ اب‬
Sunnahs َّ‫ض‬ َّۚ َ ‫َشا ٰٓ َءَّۚ َو اس َعَّ ُك ۡر اس هي َُّهَّالس ّٰم ّٰو ات ََّو ۡ َاَلَّۡر‬
‫ل الۡ َع اظ َُّۡي‬ َّ‫َو ََلَّيَـــُٔ ۡو َُ ههَّ اح ۡف ُظهُ ََّماَّ ََّۚوَّه َُوَّالۡ َع ا ه‬
"Allah! There is no god but He - the Living, The Self-
subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him Nor Sleep.
His are all things In the heavens and on earth. Who is
there can intercede In His presence except As he
permitteth? He knoweth What (appeareth to His
creatures As) Before or After or Behind them. Nor shall
they compass Aught of his knowledge Except as He
willeth. His throne doth extend Over the heavens And on
earth, and He feeleth No fatigue in guarding And
preserving them, For He is the Most High.
Sahih Bukahri The Supreme (in glory)."
 Do wadhu & sleep
on right side
Al-Bara' b. 'Azib
reported that Sleeping
Allah's, Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬said:
“When you go to bed, perform
Sunnahs
ablution as is done for
prayer; then lie down on
the right side”

[ Sahih Muslim 2710 a ]

 Place right hand
under right cheek & say
Hudhaifah ‫ ريض هللا عنه‬reported:
َّ‫اللهُمَّ اق اِنَّعَ َذاب َ َكَّي َ مو َمَّتَ مَب َع ُث‬
َّ
ََ ََ ‫ا‬ ‫َا‬
‫َب‬ ‫ع‬
Sleeping 'O Allah, protect me from Your punishment
on the Day you raise up Your slaves.'
Sunnahs

[Riyad as-Salihin Book 16, Hadith 57, At-Tirmidhi]

ِٕ َ ‫م‬ ِٕ َ
َّ،‫ك‬ََّ ‫ ََّوََّأل َجأْ ُت ََّظهم اريَّال مي‬،‫َوفَو مض ُتَّ َأ مم اريَّال مي َك‬
ِٕ َ ‫م ً ِٕ ً َ َ م‬
‫ََّلَََّّمل َجأَ ََّو ََّل‬،‫َرغ ََبة ََّو َر مه ََبةَّال مي َك‬
Sleeping ‫َّأ ٰٓ َمنم ُتَّ اب اكتَاب ََّاك‬،ِٕ ‫َمنم َجاَّ امنم َكَّاَلَّالَ مي ََّك‬
ِٕ ِٕ
Sunnahs ََّ‫َّاَّليَّ َأ مر َسلت‬ ‫م‬ ‫ ََّو ابنَ اباَّی َك ا‬،‫ااَّليَّ َأ من َزلم َت‬
'O Allah! I have surrendered myself over to you and have turned my
face towards You, and leave all my affairs to You and depend on You
and put my trust in You
expecting Your reward and
fearing Your punishment.
There is neither fleeing from
You nor refuge but with You. I
believe in the Book (Qur'an)
which You have revealed and
in Your Prophet (Muhammad)
whom You have sent.' If you
then die on that night, then
[Sahih al-Bukhari 7488] you will die as a Muslim,
 Place right hand
under right cheek while sleeping

Allah from the accursed Satan three times, and turn over onto your other side

‫َّفَّ‬ ‫ااَّل ۡي َنَّي َ ۡذ ُك ُر ۡو َن ّٰ َ‬
‫ض ََّربنَاَّ َماَّ َخلَ ۡقتََّ ه َّٰذا ََِّب اَ ًًلََّّۚ ُس َۡب ّٰحنَ َكَّفَ اقنَاََّّعَ َذ َابَّالن اَّار‬ ‫َخلۡ اَِّۙالس ّٰم ّٰو ات ََّو ۡ َاَل ۡر ا َّۚ‬
‫‪Recite last 10 ayahs‬‬ ‫َّْ ام ۡنَََّّان َۡصا ٍَّر ﴿‪﴾۱۹۲‬‬ ‫﴿‪َ َّ﴾۱۹۱‬ربنَ ااَّ اان َكَّ َم ۡنَّتُدۡ اخ الَّالن َارَّفَ َقدۡ َََّّاخ َۡزيۡ َت هَّه ََّو َماَّ ال ّٰلظ ال ام ۡ َ‬
‫َّْس ۡعنَاَّ ُمنَا اَ ًٰيَّيهنَا اَ ۡىَّ ال ۡ اًَّليۡ َم اانَّ َا ۡنَّ ّٰا امنُ ۡواَّ اب َ ابر ُ ُۡكَّفَ ّٰا َمنَّاََّّۖ َربنَاَّفَاغۡ اف ۡرَّلَنَاَّ ُذن ُۡوب ََّنَاَّ‬ ‫ربنَ ااَّ ااننَا َ ا‬
‫‪of surah ALI imran‬‬ ‫ِل ََّو ََلَّ‬ ‫ل َُّر ُس ا َ‬ ‫َّاَل ۡب َرا اَّۚر ﴿‪َ َّ﴾۱۹۳‬ربنَا ََّو ّٰا اتنَاَّ َما ََّوعَدتنَاَّعَ ّٰ َّ‬ ‫َو َك اف ۡرَّعَنا ََّس اي ّٰا اتنَا ََّوت ََوفنَاَّ َم َع ۡ ََّ‬
‫َُّت ال ُفَّاَّلۡ ام ۡي َعا َََّ‬‫ُ ُۡت ازَنَ َّي َ ۡو َمَّالۡ اق ّٰی َم اَّةَّ اان َك َََّل ُ ۡ‬
‫) ﷺ ( ‪“ The Prophet‬‬ ‫ََّ َلَّعَا ام ٍلَّ ام ۡن َُُّۡك‬ ‫ابَّلَه ُۡم ََّرِه ُ ۡمَّ َا ا ّۡن َ اََّلَّ ُا اضَّۡي ُع َ َ‬ ‫﴿‪ ﴾۱۹۴‬فَ ۡاس َت َج َ‬
‫‪awoke and sat up and wiped‬‬
‫‪Wake up‬‬ ‫ٰۡثَّب َ ۡعضُ ُ ُۡك اَّم ۢۡۡنَّب َ ۡع ٍضََّّۚفَ ااَّل ۡي َنَّهَا َج ُر ۡوا‬ ‫ام ۡن ََّذ َك ٍرَّ َا ۡوَّ ُان ّٰ َّۚ‬
‫‪Sunnahs‬‬ ‫َّۡساَّب ۡی ا ۡل ََّو ّٰقتَلُ ۡوا ََّوقُ اتلُ ۡواَّ‬ ‫َو ُا ۡخ ار ُج ۡواَّ ام ۡنَّ اَ َٰي ار ا ِۡه ََّو ُا ۡو ُذ ۡوا اَّف َ‬
‫‪the sleep away from his‬‬ ‫ََّتهِتا َاَّ ۡ َاَلۡنۡ ّٰ َُّۚر‬
‫ََّت ار ۡىَّ ام ۡن ََّۡ‬ ‫َ َُل َك اف َرنَّ َعۡنۡ ُ ۡم ََّس اي ّٰاِتا ا ۡم ََّو َ َُل ََّۡ اخلَ ُۡن ۡمَّ َج ّٰن ٍت َ ۡ‬
‫‪face with his hand.‬‬ ‫َّاّللَّ اع ۡندَ ههَّ َُّح ۡس ُنَّالَّ َواباَّ ﴿‪ََ َّ﴾۱۹۵‬لَّيَغ نُر َكَّتَ َقل ه َُّ‬
‫ب‬ ‫ثَ َو ًاِبَّ ام ۡنَّ اع ۡن اد ّٰ اَّ‬
‫َّاّلل ََّو ّٰ ُ‬
‫‪( recited the‬ﷺ) ‪Then He‬‬ ‫َّفَّالَۡب َاًل اََّ ﴿‪َ َّ﴾۱۹۶‬متَاعَّقَ ال ۡيلَّ قف ُُثَّ َم ۡا ّٰو ُهٮ َّۡم َ ََّج ََُّّن ََّوَّ ابئۡ َسَّالۡ امهَا ََُّ‬ ‫ااَّل ۡي َنَّ َك َف ُر ۡوا ا ۡ‬
‫َّاَلۡنۡ ّٰ َُّرَّخ ا اّٰل ۡي َنَّ افۡيۡ َاَّ ُن ُز ًَلَّ‬ ‫ََّت ار ۡىَّ ام ۡن َََّتۡهِتا َا ۡ َ‬ ‫َّاَّل ۡي َنَّات َق ۡوا ََّر ُِ ۡمَّلَه ُۡمَّ َجَّّٰنت َ ۡ‬ ‫﴿‪ّٰ َّ﴾۱۹۷‬ل اك ان ا‬
‫‪last ten ayats of‬‬ ‫دََّاّللَّخ َۡي اَّل ۡ ًََّل ۡب َرا اَّر ﴿‪َ َّ﴾۱۹۸‬واانَّ ام ۡنَّ َاه اۡل َّۡال اك ّٰت ابَّلَ َم َّۡنَّي ه ۡؤ ام ُنَّ‬ ‫َّاّلل ََّو َماَّ اع ۡن ّٰ ا‬ ‫ام ۡنَّ اع ۡن اد ّٰ اَّ‬
‫‪sura Ali Imran‬‬ ‫َّّلل َََّلَّيَشۡ ََُّت ۡو َن ا َِّّٰبيّٰ ات ّٰ ا‬
‫َّاّللَّثَ َمنًاََّّقَ ال ۡي ً ًَّلَّ‬ ‫اِب ّٰ اّلل ََّو َم ااَّ ُا ۡن از َلَّ االَ ۡي ُ ُۡك ََّو َم ااَّ ُا ۡن از َلَّ ااَّلَۡيۡ ا ۡمَّ ّٰخ اش اع ۡ َْ ا ّٰ ا‬
‫ٰٓ‬
‫‪(Sura 3).‬‬ ‫ََّسيۡ ُعَّالۡ اح َساباَّ ﴿‪ّٰ َّ﴾۱۹۹‬ا َٰيُّيه َا ا‬
‫َّاَّل ۡي َنَّ ّٰا َمَّنُ ۡواَّ‬ ‫اّلل َ ا‬ ‫ُاو ّٰل ِٕٮ َكَّلَه ُۡمَّ َا ۡج ُر ُ ِۡهَّ اع ۡن َ‬
‫دََّر ا اِ َّۡمَّ اانَّ ّٰ َ‬
‫‪Muwatta Malik Book 7, Hadith 11‬‬
‫ُكَّتُ ۡف ال ُح ۡو ََّن ﴿‪﴾۲۰۰‬‬
‫ع‬ ‫َّاّللَّلَ َعل ُ ۡ‬
‫ۡاص ا َُب ۡوا ََّو َصا اب ُر ۡواَّ َو َراب ُاط ۡوا قف َوات ُق ۡوا ّٰ ََّ‬
 Abu Huraira said:
Blow your nose and “When anyone amongst you wakes
wash hands up from sleep, he must not put his
hand in the utensil till he has washed
it three times, for he does not
Wake up know where his hand was
Sunnahs during the night.”
( Sahih Muslim 278a)

َّ ‫قُوةََّاَل اَِّبّللَّال َع ا الَّال َعظ ايَّ َر ابَّا مغف مر ا‬

None has the right to be worshipped but
Allah alone, with no partner or associate.
His is the dominion and all praise is to Him,
and He is Able to do all things.Glory is to
Allah, praise is to Allah, none has the right
to be worshiped but Allah, Allah is the Most
Great, and there is no power and no
strength except with Allah, the Most High,
the Most Supreme. (O Lord, forgive me)

 Wake up early in
the morning
Messenger of Allah (‫ )ﷺ‬said: Try to wake up for Tahajjud, and then work
during the hours before Fajr Salah. If you
cannot, then at least wake up for Fajr
and stay up till sunrise. Those
Wake up hours are filled with Barakah.

 Break the knots of
Allah's Messenger (‫ ﷺ‬said) Shatan
"During your sleep, Satan knots three knots at the
back of the head of each of you, and he breathes Waking up &
the following words at each knot, 'The night is,
Long, so keep on sleeping
1 remembering
Allah

' If that person wakes up and Wake up

celebrates the praises of Allah, Performing
then one knot is undone
Sunnahs ablution

and when he performs ablution the

second knot is undone, and

when he prays, all the knots are undone,
and he gets up in the morning lively and in good
spirits, otherwise he gets up in low spirits
and lethargic."

Abu Hurairah ‫ ريض هللا عنه‬reported:

In the Name of Allah, enter , in the Name of Allah we
I have placed my trust leave , and upon our Lord we
in Allah, there is no depend [then say As-Salaamu
might and no power 'Alaykum to those present].

 Importanc of dua
Dua when leaving home Anas ibn Maalik narrated that the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬, said,
"When a man goes out of his house and says,
َّ‫ ََّو ََل‬،‫َّهللا‬
‫َّتَ َو مَّك ُتَّعَ َل ا‬،‫َّهللا‬ ‫' ب ماس ام ا‬Bismillaahi tawakkaltu ‘ala Allaah wala
hawla wala quwwata
َّ‫َح مو َلَّ َو ََلَّ ُقوةََّا ََّل اَِّب ا‬
‫هلل‬ illa billaah,
ِٕ ‘(In the name of Allaah, I place my
Sunnahs trust in Allaah; there is no power
Bismillaahi, tawakkaltu 'alallaahi,
wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata and no strength save in Allaah.)’
‘ illaa billaah. then the following is said to him,
'You are guided, defended and
In the Name of Allah, protected.'
I have placed my trust
in Allah, there is no
So the devils will move out of his way, and another
might and no power devil will say,
except by Allah.
'How can you deal with a man who has been
guided, defended, and protected (by Allaah)?
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3426 Abu Daawood - Al-Albaani graded it Saheeh (good)

"When the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬would 'Aishah, ‫ ريضَّهللاَّعۡنا‬said:
"When the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬
enter the toilet 'He said:
'Allahumma inni a'uthu bika
min al-khubuthi wal-khaba'ith would exit the toilet
Sunnahs He would say:
َّ‫اللهُمَّا اّنَّ َأ ُعو ُذَّب َاكَّ ام َن‬ 'Ghufranak.'"
