An-Najah University: Electrical Circuits Lab

This document summarizes an electrical circuits lab experiment on parallel resonance. The experiment was conducted on Wednesday from 2-5 PM on June 13, 2019. The objectives were to study digital logic gates practically using integrated circuits in a breadboard. Tools used included AND, OR, NAND and inverter gates, a multimeter, and a power supply. Procedures included connecting the ICs in a breadboard, supplying 5V power, measuring voltages using a multimeter, and observing the functionality of different logic gates. The conclusion was that the experiment helped understand how to use lab equipment, realize the functionality of various logic gates, and learn about IC datasheets and floating pins.

Instructor Name: Dr.Omar Khaled Tamimi Course Name: ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS LAB

Time: Wednesday (2-5) . Date: 13-6-2019.

Section: Electrical Engineering. Semster :second Semester 2020-2021.

Group Members: Adel Bni Jaber &.

Parallel resonance

*Introduction and Objectives *

we studied in -Digital 1- About gates all study was theoretical but not practical so at
this course we will take the practical part .At this Exp we will take the major gates
and use the ICs in the breadboard to see their effects logically and electrically, to do
this first thing is to distinguish the equipment's at lab, verify them too , and the same
. for electronic workbench

**Tools and Equipment's

: the tools we used in this Exp are

.And gate. ♦7432 Or gate 7408♦

.Inverter gate. ♦7400 NAND gate 7404♦

.Multimeter. ♦Power supply ♦

♦ .Date Sheets for IC's

**************************************************

*Procedures*

turn the power supply on and connect the wires in fixed input at .1

.channel 3 of the power source the voltage give is 5V

Connect the IC in the breadboard and connect the wires in the .2

breadboard the positive on the breadboard with +Ve and the negative

.with the -Ve

The Vcc on the IC will be connected with the (+) and the Ground .3

.)-( with the

connect first pin , second pin and third pin the inputs will be first .4

.and second ones and the output is the third

.connect Multimeter and measure voltage.5

.Find voltage on all cases.6

***********************************************************

*Conclusion*

in this Experiment we know to use equipment's in lab , we realized the

functionality of the gates (Inverter ,AND,OR,NAND) , and we see the data
sheets of IC's and understand them , learn a new Terminology (Floating pin )
.and it effect
