Human resource management is a distinct and specialized function which all managers
need to accomplish. It is that branch of management which is concerned with the
employment, selection, development and the finest utilization of employees. Thus, human
resource management ensures that every employee makes his maximum involvement to
the achievement of organizational goals and objectives. [CITATION Kal \l 1033 ]
The human resource management that we are experiencing nowadays is the result of a
number of substantial inter-related developments since the era of the industrial revolution.
There are several significant functions in practicing human resource management. All types
of organizations must perform those managerial functions for the development of the said
organization. No organization can function and achieve its objectives in the absence of
efficient and competent employees.
Committed, honest, determined and loyal employees are required not only for the growth
but also for the survival of organization. Therefore, human resource is considered as the
most valuable resource of an organization.
