1.1.

SHEET SCALE

Title block of the project is available in seed file folder of project drive. Preferably Scale of the sheet
is 1:100; it shall be scaled as per the type of drawing. Some of standard scales are identified as
below:

Drawing Scale
1:1 1:100 1:250
1:10 1:125 1:500
1:25 1:150 1:1000
1:50 1:175 1:1500
1:75 1:200 1:2000
NOTE:
1) A scale shall be selected so that all necessary drawing information is clearly and effectively
conveyed.
2) If scale needs to be altered, lead designer/reviewer shall be consulted before initiation of
drawing.

1.2. KEY PLAN


1) Key plan shall be provided on the right hand top corner of the sheet in the space allotted for
the key plan.
2) North line must be indicated on left hand top corner of key plan block.
3) Relevant plant North (N)/South (S) and plant East (E)/West (W) axis shall be marked as per
plot plan.
4) Relevant Area shown in the drawing shall be hatched in key plan.
5) Drawing Area name shall be indicated.
6) Key plan scale to be decided in such a way that it fits in the block provided for key plan.
7) The overall key plan shall be generated from the outline of individual buildings/facilities of
latest plot plan and the same shall be owned & maintained by plot plan owner. For more
details refer cl. 2.12 of LTSL-GDS-001.

1.3. DRAWING STATUS STAMP

For Drawing status stamp refer Generic Detail no. GN-035 to GN-039.

1.4. NORTH ARROW


1) All plans shall have north arrows.
2) North arrow shall be as per Generic detail GN-022. The same shall be used while preparing
the drawing. Please use the project specific north arrow if the same is defined.
3) North arrow shall always be located on the left top corner of the sheet as shown in the
example sheet.
4) The orientation of plan in the drawing shall be as per vendor/mechanical general
arrangement drawing for that building.
