Palette:
(paper palettes avail. at art supply store, Glass can be bought at Home
Depot.)
-Paper palette(disposable) or glass, at least 16in.x20in. The glass must be at
least 1/4in. thick.
Palette knife:
-1 1/2 in. to mix paint
Gesso:
-Acrylic gesso (white) to prime painting surfaces

Rags:
(You MUST have lots of rags!)
-Either tear up some old cotton tee shirts,towels,etc… for rags, or you can
buy rags by the bag (bag o’ rags) at Home Depot.
Masking Tape:
-1/2in. width
Scraper:
-A razor blade scraper to clean your palette – buy extra blades.
Small glass jars (with screw on tops)or tin cans (with lids):
-To hold your paint thinner,etc. Your containers MUST have lids. Good
ones are mayonnaise jars with lids, etc…
Paper:
-JUMBO size newsprint pad of paper. (available at Co-Op east)
Drawing supplies:
-Exactly like the ones you had in Drawing I and II.
Visualizing tools:
-Make a viewfinder - make a rectangular frame out of cardboard with the
opening 4in.x3in., then tape string across it in both directions, like a
window:
