STARTING THE MACHINE…
Perform Walk Around of Machine and be sure no Lock-out Tag-out warning tags
are on the machine
Mount the machine using 3 points of contact
Turn the Battery Disconnect Switch to ON (if equipped)

Adjust Seat, Fasten Seat Belt
T T
Move Direction Control Lever to Neutral
T T
Ensure all Implements are Grounded
T T
Move the Attachment Control Lever to HOLD
T T
Ensure all Personnel are Clear of Machine
T T
Make Sure Steering Frame Lock is in Unlocked Position
Move Hydraulic Controls to HOLD Position
Move the steering and transmission lock control or the transmission neutral lock
control to the LOCKED position
Sound Horn

Turn Key Start Switch to ON
T T
Perform Startup Test to Observe Monitoring System Self-Test (if applicable)

Turn Key Start Switch to START. Crank Engine
T T
MACHINE WARM-UP…
Allow Machine to Warm Up (as per OMM)

Engage and Disengage Attachment Controls to help speed warm-up of Hydraulic
T
Components T
Cycle all Control to allow warm Oil to circulate through all Hydraulic Cylinders
T
and Lines T
Perform Steering, Service Brake and Parking Brake Operation Checks (as per
T
OMM by Machine Model) T
MOVING THE MACHINE…
Ensure Area is Clear

Raise all lowered Impalements
Depress Service Brake Pedal
T T
Release the Parking Brake
T T
Move Transmission Control Lever to desired direction
T T
Release Service Brake Pedal and depress Accelerator Pedal
T T
MACHINE SHUT DOWN…
Park the Machine on Smooth, Level Area

Set Parking Brake
Lower all Hydraulic Implements
Run Engine at Low Idle for 5 minutes to allow Engine to Cool
Turn Key Start Switch to OFF and remove Key

Dismount Machine using 3-Point Contact
T T
Block Wheels and remove Disconnect Switch Key if Parking for Extended Period
Conduct Post-Operation Walk-Around Inspection
