Put myself in my favourite book

Today started off as a normal day, I was reading A-Z of Beasts. Then, when I
walked to my door, I came face to face with NIXA THE SHAPE SHIFTER

FROM MY BOOK I couldn’t believe my eyes and didn’t understand. I asked
it “W-w-what are you d-d-doing in m-m-my b-b-bedroom?”

It said, “I’m not in your bedroom, you’re on page 24 of the book.” He nudged
towards my clothes and I realised that I was in rags and looked like a corpse. I

had been transported into the book I wanted to scream, when suddenly, I heard
footsteps. Nixa said, “Stay still boy. We don’t want to frighten your sister.”
Even though it had been my dream to scare my sister, it wasn’t worth getting
eaten by Nixa.
