1. Why is secondary research on the Internet the best way for Mallee to find out more about
   the Korean market?
Internet study is one of Mallee 's preferred ways to find out more about the Korean
  economy, for the following explanation:
With the aid of the internet, Mallee may receive specific knowledge about the
Korean market. Accessing knowledge from the internet is also convenient, as it saves
          time, energy and other resources.
Various information about government policies, agencies, importers and existing
market competitors can be accessed on the Internet by Mallee.
By doing research on the Internet, Mallee is able to gain more insight on the
different areas of the Korean economy, product demand in the Korean market,
tradition and culture knowledge of the Korean market.[ CITATION Ben18 \l 16393 ]
Doing secondary research on the internet is the best way as it reduced cost of
          conducting research. [ CITATION Wha09 \l 16393 ]
2. What issues in product adaptation may have prompted Mallee to consider thinly slicing their
beef before exporting it to Korea?
Following research on the Korean market, Mallee learned that Koreans have a very popular
traditional dish called pulgogi consisting of thinly sliced beef, which he believed would be a
good option for exporting to the Korean market. Other advantages of exporting finely sliced
  beef were:
Import prices will be lower because of the beef bones.
The item should be more desirable to consumers as it's ready to use.
The product will be more attractive to the target customer.
3. What should the MaIIee owner and his son have done better to prepare for th e business
   meeting in Korea?
Mallee did a good market study, but, owing to the lack of cultural awareness and research,
Mallee did not plan for business meetings.
Mallee and his son made attempts to speak about businesses when getting dinner
however, according to studies Koreans avoid discussing business while having a meal
and it was the consequence of a lack of cultural understanding. [ CITATION Kor \l
         16393 ]
According to study, the foreigner is supposed to give or invite the local Korean to a
friendly dinner invitation that Mallee and his son did not make because of unsuitable
               cultural awareness. [ CITATION Kor \l 16393 ]
              • Mallee has declined the Seak owner 's offer to perform a solo song, since it is
deemed inappropriate to refuse an invitation to perform. Koreans agree that a
individual does not have the ability to sing, but they want you to sing as love,
               gratitude and respect. [ CITATION Kor \l 16393 ]
   4. What can Mallee do to salvage its relationship with Seok?
Mallee can do the following things:
Mallee and his son would have learned Korea's culture and tradition, and helped
             strengthen their friendship with Seok.
When having dinner, they should also have knowledge about ethics and stop
discussing company while having dinner. Mallee and his son would have hosted Seok
owner as a favour on a joint celebratory dinner, so holding a dinner again might
have offered all parties a chance to better learn about one another and strengthen
             their friendship over time.
Mallee should also have sung a song on the demand of Seak owner. It will show the
             love and respect for them.
