NARRATIVE REPORT
November 24, 2019

“Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” _Luke 23:42
Feast of Christ the King, also called Solemnity of Our Jesus Christ, king of the
Universe, festival celebrated in the Roman Catholic in honour of Jesus Christ as Lord
over all creation. Essentially a magnification of the feast of the Ascension.

Christ the King was held in Maddela, Quirino last November 24, 2019. Before we
travelled we had mass first here in Aritao and travel to Maddela at exactly 8:00 AM in
the morning to join the Christ the King. We reach Maddela at exactly 12:00 PM, we had
lunch first before we proceed to the assembly area for the procession and then at exactly
1:00 PM, the procession was started there are so many people who attended the
procession. It was very hot but because of our devotion we endure the heat of the sun.
After the procession, our Bishop Jose Elmer I. Mangalinao, DD immediately started the
mass. What an inspiring homily of our beloved Bishop shared to us. After the mass, we
already prepared ourselves to go home (supposedly 😊) but we decided to drop by at
Robinsons Santiago. We watched movie there but unluckily we didn’t finish the movie
because we need to go home already.

For me, though the travel was tiring still because of our devotion to our Lord,
Jesus Christ we didn’t consider it tiring but memorable experience.
