Advanced Beam Smoke Detector Guide

The ESP FIREbeam is an analogue addressable beam smoke detector that features self-aligning technology to correct for building movement. It has a detection range of 5-40m standard but can be extended up to 100m with additional reflector kits. The detector continually monitors its alignment and will automatically re-align if any movement occurs. It connects to the ESP analogue addressable loop and can be commissioned and maintained from ground level using a separate controller unit.

Description
The ESP FIREbeam is a reflective beam Smoke Detector which features advanced motorised
technology allowing it to self-align itself to the centre of the reflector when commissioning.
Commissioning is a semi-automatic procedure where the unit aligns itself directly onto the centre
of the reflector. Once commissioned the detector continually monitors alignment and will
automatically realign itself back to the centre of the reflector if any building movement occurs.

The detector comes with a separate controller unit which allows engineers to commission, monitor
and maintain from ground level. Detection range is 40m for the standard unit, increasing to 80m
or 100m with the addition of the medium or long-range reflector kits

The ESP FIREbeam features an integral CHQ-POM module allowing full connectivity to the ESP
analogue addressable loop.
