Affidavit Complaint

VJ Pangan filed a complaint against Vincent Pedron for violating BP Blg. 22. Pangan loaned Pedron PHP 700,000 on January 11, 2020 which was due to be repaid by March 15, 2020. On March 15, Pedron gave Pangan a check for the loan amount but the bank dishonored the check due to insufficient funds. Despite demands, Pedron has failed to repay the loan. COMPLAINT-AFFIDAVIT
I, VJ Pangan, of legal age, and a resident of 20 Aguinaldo Ave.,
Manila, under oath declare that:
1. Last January 11, 2020, the respondent borrowed Php 700,000
from me, obliging him to pay that loan by March 15, 2020. A
copy of the promissory note that he made and issued for that
loan is hereto attached as “ANNEX A”.

2. Last March 15, 2020, in the City of Manila, the respondent


purportedly in payment for that loan, drew and issued to me
BPI Bank Check No. 12345. A copy of that check is hereto
attached as “ANNEX B”.
3. Upon presentment for clearing/collection, the drawee bank
dishonored the check because it was “drawn against
insufficient funds”. The bank debit advice to that effect is hereto
attached as “ANNEX C”.

4. Notice of dishonor and demand for payment were made upon


the respondent. However, the latter simply ignored them. A
copy of the said notice is hereto attached as “ANNEX D”.

5. I am executing this sworn statement for the purpose of


charging the respondent with having violated B.P. Blg. 22.
