Greetings!

I write this letter to ask for your kind consideration regarding my status as a scholar of K-12
Transition Scholarship Program this Second Semester of 2019-2020. In my original study plan submitted
to the CHEDRO-VI, I am supposed to take the Comprehensive Examination during the Second Semester
under the Ph.D. Social Science of the College of Arts and Sciences at the West Visayas State University
scheduled March 8-22, 2020. However, I was given the opportunity to present my research paper at
Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia on February 5-12, 2020. Upon my return, I was advised to undergo 21-days
home quarantine by the Department of Health due to the arising Ncov-19 cases all over the world. To
this, I was not able to comply with the requirements for the application of the Comprehensive
Examination.

However, rest assured that during the months covering the period of Second Semester I have
conducted preparations thru self-review by readings and note-takings. These milestones are reflected
in the FORM A submitted to your office. Likewise, I promise to take the Comprehensive Examination this
First Semester of school year 2020 without fail.

May this request merit your approval for the consideration of the release of my stipend for this
Second Semester of 2019-2020
