Submitting partial hospital information pertaining to Breastfeeding Hospital Initiative for review and final
checking and approvalby Dr. Gillian Lardizabal Breastfeeding Chairman.

1. Total number of hospital beds = 150 


2. Total number of hospital employees = 524
3. Number of beds designated for high risk pregnancy cases, if any. = 2
4. Number of postpartum maternity beds. (OB) = 2
5. Average daily number of mothers with full term babies in the postpartum unit. = 5 -6 per day
6. Average daily census NICU

Total births last year (2018): and breakdown
-Number of NSD = 222
-Number of CS without General Anesthesia = 248 all are spinal anesthesia 
-Number of CS with General Anesthesia

Percentage of pregnant women who received testing and counselling for HIV. = 0
Percentage of mothers who were known to be HIV positive at the time of babies birth. = 0
