Of the four (4) goals, I think the two (2) that are most closely linked to community
service/volunteerism are goals 1 (Jamaicans are empowered to achieve their fullest potential)

their surroundings clean. Volunteers can promote healthy living and protection of the
environment by hosting educational seminars, posters and other medium in the organization
that they are volunteering in. In keeping with the Vision 2030 National Development Plan
of Jamaica, these methods would educate individuals on issues such as proper hygiene,
garbage disposal, recycling and reforestation which will aide individuals in achieving their

patients with spinal cord injuries due mainly to motor vehicle accidents, Stroke victims and
