Next Day After Yesterday

Prologue

The war is hell. Hell in the living world that is.

In 2035, not sure wich country start it. It happen to sudden. One day is peacefull and
the next day a nuclear missile has flying all over the sky, exploding in almost all city. Every
soldier moved to protect their own country and attack another country and every country
reveal their secred weapon to war. This was a blind war. Everybody is fighting for the
survival in this war. Soldiers, man, woman even a kid. No mercy shown.

Then, who were win in this war ?

None

It was 3 month of war hell. 50% of the world has contaminated with radiation, the
world lose 50% of it population. All electricity and road got cut. Food and water become a
luxury thing. Everyone willing do anything for it. And that day has become the start of the
dark age of humanity. The society crumble. Goverment can’t do anything. And then 5 year
later, Canibalism, murder, rape, and torturing for fun happen everywhere.

When you think all this can’t get any worst.

You were wrong.

The effect of the nuclear and bioweapon keep spreading. The world was filled with
mutant, zombie, monster and many other anomaly that can kill you. Each day is a struggle for
live. Each day is strugle to protect ourself from our kind and from other.

And then a man raise up.

They called him Arkce

A man with a wise thinking. He born in the wasteland. One day, when he was 5 year
old, he almost end up as a food for the lunatic. But his mother was a smart esper. With some
struggle she able to escape with his son to a small village.

In that village, life a wise elder who lead the village. he able to teach people how to
farm in this cursed land, so the village itself never run out a food. He able to teach people
how to purify the water, so the village itself never get poisoned by the water they drank. But
most importanly, he able to unit many people with many culture in one place to work
together for their live.

This elder accept arkce like a familly. Then Arkce raised in that village. he grow
smart and wise. Almost all people lived in that village trust him. Maybe one day he will
became the next chief for this village.

Year after year beeing a peacefull.

Until one day, after a when a full moon shine, a pack of bandit raider came to his
village rode a beast with a giant fang. At least there were 20 of them with a spear, sword and
bow. it happen to sudden. the village is unable to defend itself. Without preparation, every
man trying to stop them. But, it no use. The Bandit just to strong. They manage to injure
some of the man and came inside the village. Some of the village people were hiding inside
the house and some of them only can stand with fear.

In the middle of village square, a woman stand and now she surounded. that woman
was Arkce mother. Her heart burn with hatred. But yet, her face trying to be calm.

“what you want ?” she ask.

All the bandits laughing. Then, a man get off from his mount. He was the leader of
this pack.

“what we want, u ask ?” he said.

“water, food, gasoline”

“well, we want anything u have”

“or maybe you want surrender yourself to us” he continue with smuging face.

Arkce mother try really hard to be calm at this point.

“No, we don’t have what you seek” she said

“even though we have, we cant give you any”

“now, i’ll ask politely”

“would you kindly leave from our village ? now” she ask

The bandit seems not happy with what she said. Their leader step closer to Arkce
mother. He laughing. Now he stand really close in front of Arkce mother. His hand touch
Arkce mothers chin. Raising her face up.

“well, well, what a brave woman”

The wind around Arkce mother slowly turn hot. A spark of fire burn in the air.

“i said”

“LEAVE”

Blaaazzzzee

A fire blazing around her body. The bandit leader surprised. he jump backward.
 “what !”

The blaze keep swirling for a moment then disappear. Arkce mother eyes turn into
red. Her hair glowing like a fire.

“A witch” said the bandit leader.

Some of the bandit are stun by what they were seeing.

“what are you waiting for, kill her”

With that command 5 of them rushing straight toward arkce mother pointing their
spear with intend to kill her. Some of them were watching and the other readying their bow
and arrow.

Arkce mother raising her hand to the raiders that rusing toward her. Then a blaze of
fire were created in a second. Raging toward them and hit 3 of the raiders. That fire was
burning the beast, the raider fall unconcius. 2 of them still rushing toward arkce mother. But
with easily, she able to dodge the incoming spear.

then came raining arrow. She taking a deep breat. Once more a blaze of fire dance
around her like a fire tornado. Burning every single arrow then came to harm her. the raider
became hesitate to continuing this fight.

Then . . .

when least expected.

BLAM

A shot.

Firearm shot, was heard.

A blaze around Arkce mother were fading. All became silent. And then, she falling to
the ground. A blood were flowing through her chest.

The bandit leader laughing. His hand holding a gun, an old rifle. his steping closer to
Arkce mother that already dying. Village people can do anyting except watch. Young Arkce
was watching to.
