MY Career Goal Janisha Fortune

My career goal is to become an early childhood teacher. I believe children should have

opportunities to be engaged in their learning and have a voice to act on ideas and objectives in

their environment. The activities I do with them, will determine how their learning patterns

develop. As children interact with their environment, they learn problem solving skills, Critical

thinking skills, and language skills. As a childcare professional, I strive to develop the stages and

milestones of children. I will practice methods of assessment and observation techniques,

maintain an inclusive childcare environment, and meet the needs of all children in my care. I

always use strategies for positive child guidance and discipline. I plan to keep Learning. The idea

is to develop positive relationships with parents and children. It is a good feeling to know that

children will have the opportunity to learn and develop with me.
