Introduction
Fishing is a lucrative industry that can increase a fair share in Sri Lankan GDP.
However the post-harvest losses in traditional fishing methods and
unproductive conventional fishing vessels has minimize the extracting much
needed foreign income in to the economy of the country.

In order to address the harvest losses CEY-NOR Foundation limited has


developed a productive fishing vessel with latest technology

Hull Design
The vessel is designed with deep V bottom chine hull form to ensure better
sea keeping and the speed. The chines will improve the stability of the vessel.
The fisherman will experience high performance with the vessel. The fish hold
capacity is 45 Cu.m. Increased fuel capacity will maximize endurance.

Refrigeration System
Refrigeration system included a cold room and a slurry ice machine.
Refrigerated fish hold is able to maintain a temperature around -200C.
The System is equipped with one Bitzer compressor. Marine grade LUV
evaporated is being used and the system will improve the quality of
the catch. The vessel can reduce the quantity of the fishon ice which
will reduce the load of the vessel. This will improve the fuel economy of
the boat and increase the fish holding capacity. The Slury ice machine
can produce 3Tons of slury ice. The fish is preserved well with slury ice
that keeps the freshness of the catch

Main Engines and Generators


Between 325HP continuous duty turbocharged Doosan MD196TI engine is
installed to the boat. The marine generator capacity is 25 Kw. The generator
engine is Hyndai D4AF-G and the alternator is MeccAlite

Navigation Equipment

State of the art navigation equipment with GPS fish finder will ensure the
safety sailing and will be easy to find fishing ground
