● Very Good

What are some areas of improvement and opportunities for continued learning/growth for
the intern?
● Nikki should seek more opportunities to gain public health communication skills by
working with public health professionals /in public health fields. She should apply her
research on best practices for effective communication in public health through
ongoing practice with community outreach. She should also apply the practice she
gained in developing partner and community contact lists and finding ways to utilize
contact management in her outreach. Nikki has great potential to be effective in
providing public health education to the public and public health communications. I
hope she can apply some aspect of her internship experience to continue work with
health promotion focused on preventive methods and health education and get even
more involved with operations and administrative roles.

● Nikki did a great job identifying her areas of interest and consistently
communicates and updates communication about her needs to understand and
execute her assignment. She listens well, gives relevant feedback, and she
collaborates well with others. She has a great sense of humor and positive attitude
about getting things done and is willing to take constructive criticism and make
improvements.
Please provide any written feedback, commenting on the intern’s overall performance thus
far.
● Nikki has been a great addition to CORE GA’s communications and community
outreach team. Her partner contact management, outreach and content research, and
partner outreach script creation efforts have been valuable to our work quality and
overall effort to improve internal and external communications and expand outreach
efforts. Given the COVID-19 space and engagement constraints, Nikki did a really
great job being as present and effective as possible in her internship. There are
tangible project outcomes and legacy documents that will support the team after she
has completed her internship. I wish her well in her next career journey and beyond.

Thank you for your service, Nikki!
