Ref: -1. Our Letter No. TPF/D&C/PR-I/2018-2019/10 dated on 15/06/2019

Dear Sir,
This is in reference to above reference letters wherein you have been directed to rectify the defects
within your scope of work. Looking towards the forthcoming monsoon it is utmost necessary to carry
out the rectification works at the earliest which are summarized as follows:
1. Providing and marking of thermoplastic paint at certain location is still pending from your side.
Considering the fast approaching monsoon season once again you are hereby advice to complete
the balance work at the earliest.
2. During the overlaying works, bituminous material was dumped in the drain spout and as per your
report submitted via mail dated 30/04/2020, you have claimed to complete the drain spout cleaning
work..the AE is of strong opinion that the silt or dust must have penetrated into the pipeline thus
choking it and hence demonstration of free flow of water through the drain spouts is a must.
3. At certain location it was observed that execution of earthen shoulder still pending from your end
looking towards the safety of road user it is utmost necessary to complete the balance work
before the monsoon.
4. In addition to the above, in reference to PD-NHAI letter no 961 dated 25/05/2020 regarding the
debris/left out bituminous material, broken shoulder edges, boulders on shoulder, kerb painting
etc. needs to be expedite for safety of road user.
5. The other pre-monsoon activities as mention at PD-PIU-NHAI letter no 961 dated 25/05/2020
needs to be planned/expedite without any fail
In view of the above & looking towards the time constraint as the monsoon may commence you
are hereby instructed to expedite the balance work within your scope & BOQ items at earliest before
the monsoon.
