Last Wednesday we decided to visit the zoo. We
arrived the next morning after lunch, collecting our
passes, and entering.
We walked to the first exhibits. I looked at a
giraffe while looking back at me.
I took a nervous step towards the
next area. One of the lions looked
at me while resting in the shade
while the others napped.
One of my friends hit first and then
hit the tempered glass in front of
the monkey's cage.
They howled and yelled at us as we
rushed to another exhibit where we
stopped and gaped at the feathered
birds.
After resting, we headed to the zoo where we petted shaggy sheep that just stared at us, but
the goats hit each other and nibbled on our clothes when we ventured too close to their
closed corral.
Later, our tired group made their
way across the crowded roads and
emerged from the crooked door.
Our car crashed, jerked, and swayed as we
dozed on the relaxed ride home.
