1-2-3 SPELL IT!
1-2-3 SPELL IT! is meant to be more of a challenge for those readers
and spellers who are ready to take it to the next level!

• Print off one game board for two players to share. the game board.
• Print off letter cards* for the game of your choice AND the Wild Cards (p. 14).
To Play: (played similarly to Uno) 3
• Deal each player 7 cards.
• Players hold their 7 cards in their hand so they (but no one else) can see them. Extra cards are placed facedown in a pile.
• Decide who goes first.
• Player one starts the game by looking at the cards in his own hand to see if he can build another REAL word on the game
board (remembering to pay attention to the number at the bottom right-hand corner of each card). If he is able to, he places
his card down on the game board, reads the real word he made, and his turn is over (for example, he could turn name in into
