ACTIVITY 2

SYSTEM-ENVIRONMENT INTERACTION

EVENTS REACTION

When I saw NBA Finals at the T.V. I feel excitement towards the game
When I ate food at the birthday party I feel full
When I heard my favorite song I feel relaxed
When I greet my father a Happy Father’s Day I feel happy

As what I have seen in Sodom and Gomorrah movie, that is related to the System-Environment
Interaction, is that, we humans are consider as a system and we are independent to our environments,
and the environment depends on how we use and care for our nature. Therefore, the System-
Environment Interaction is a cycle of life.

As human being, we are independent to our environment; we get our shelter, our food, clothes,
and also water. Without environment, we cannot survive, but the environment also depends on how we
care about nature.

ACTIVITY 3

INSTITUTIONAL POLICIES, NATIONAL AGENDA, AND INTERNATIONAL GOALS

1. In PomPoko movie, the raccoons engaged in a desperate struggle to stop the construction and
preserve their home. In fighting for their rights as an animal they faced a possibility of
extinction.
As a people in the society, we are affected by the policies and laws. As a human being, we must
understand the rights of everyone, not only the people but also the animals and the living things
around us. We must not abuse the environment.

2. All of us know of this goals to a better place. I can say that this goals are important to us. This
goals help us to achieve a better life and to achieve our goals in life. We are shaped by this goals.
In school for example, we held a Feeding Program for the people who are not afford to buy
food. This goals also help us to be aware about our society we live in.

3. Sustainable development goals are also important. Their goals is to help people to live in a
better place with a better life.

4. Good governance means the processes for making and implementing decisions that will affect
us. For making and implementing decision we can also help and contribute to have a good
policies for our community. The policies should be improve, it likes we living in a dangerous
place, we cannot go anywhere alone because there might be a possibility of danger. Bad guys
must be catch for us to live a peaceful and a better life.

5. Human right has its different rights. We have the Personal right, the right to vote and choose
our leader, the collective right. We have the right to drink clean water and inhale fresh air, the
inherent right, the right to defend our self in the court and the specific right, the right a certain
group. It affect us live freely in our community, defend our self in others and choose our good
leader to rule our society.

ACTIVITY 4

INTRODUCTION TO WATER AS AN ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERN

1. I live in Purok-17 CMU, in my community as I observed, we have no problem in water in quality

or quantity because it is not a city and not over populated, the waste are weekly collected and
the drainage of the water is clean.

2. If the situation of the movie happened to my community, there would be no Erin Brockovich
because people in my community has a concern about the community they live in and they are
aware of the waste policies.

3. In order to help the water problem, we must be aware of the consequences if we will throw our
garbage in water, we will not abused the use of water and maintain its cleanliness. Throwing
garbage’s in the water may cause a lot of disease in our community especially in our family. We
must observed the proper garbage disposal and maintain cleanliness.
