leadership
As we all know, leadership plays an incredibly important role in every organization's
success. This is likely to be the area of organizational behavior most widely researched. The way
to influence people to achieve organizational goals is leadership. Leadership Regardless of what
form of organization it is, a successful leader often represents an advantage for an organization
and plays a significant role in the organization's success. According organizations are often
under-managed and underdriven, according to Warren G. Bennis, Founding Leadership Institute
President, University of Southern California. Today, a highly competitive and unpredictable
market climate. In the competitive world, new approaches need to be taken, and creative ways of
addressing a problem are to thrive. Such activities are carried out by a chief by involving ESOP
workers. Leadership is a part of our life that is incorporated. "The ideals of leadership are eternal,
as mankind remains constant in the world that is constantly evolving," says corporate head and
former presidential candidate Ross Perot. Most of us have leadership in our lives from early
childhood in our communities through friendships, sports, social and educational events through
school and higher education through politics and government. All these partnerships include
criteria, expectations, and benefits. During one point in time, events take place from the other
side without any anticipation("Theories of leadership in Tata group," 2019). Transformational
leaders work for the common good of their followers; guide their followers toward the next
level; encourage them to overcome their self-interest, and produce superior results.
Mr. Ratan Tata, former CEO of TATA Group, and current Director of Reliance Industries
Ltd. I shall be considering this, Mr. Ambani Mukesh.
TATA Group has a network of long-term leadership plan. Their management system is
based on the model of British administrative service. The goal of TATA 's management growth
Running head:- Project 3
plan is to make today 's managers tomorrow's leaders. JRD Tata, late chairman of the TATA
Group in the 1950s, developed the curriculum for leadership growth. The philosophy behind the
Tata Administrative Services (TAS) leadership system was to pick and cultivate young
managers, give them a chance to grow and to lead them tomorrow("Theories of leadership in
Tata group," 2019). The face of Modern Indian Industrialists is Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani, the
Real Champion and the Legendary Entrepreneur. Ambani's true legacy is a "role model to young
entrepreneurs," the Chairperson and Managing Director of Reliance Industries. Mukesh, the
owner of the most significant private sector, has successfully set the path for the growth of
modern India and the Fortune 500 business in India.
The concept of TATA Community transformation leadership:
In Bennis' and Nanus 's model of transition leaders, we can see that transformation
leaders are becoming autonomous leaders, and their main focus is to explicitly communicate
their vision and values so that new leaders know where to turn into independent leaders. Each of
these qualities is critical thought, persistence, dedication, and self-control. Bennis and Nanus
have set the model which underlines the four leaders of Transformation:
Idealized influence (the role model);
Inspiring drive (creation, inspiration and team spirit challenge)
Creating and innovating intellectual stimulation
Human interest (helping and supporting followers)
The TATA Group has a prolonged system of leadership. A network of leadership is based
on a UK model of administrative service. TATA's leadership development program is aimed at
turning today's managers into tomorrow's leaders. JRD Tata 's late Chairman of TATA in the
1950s was designed to develop leadership. The aim of the Tata Management Services (TAS)
Running head:- Project 4
leadership program was to pick and nurture young management, provide them with a chance for
professional growth, and guide them in tomorrow's future. Ratan Tata, chairman of the TATA
Group, was shown to be a truly transformational leader. We can see all that I've built-in in Ratan
Tata. He has a great vision, and he knows the right path towards future leadership. The team
spirit has been applied at all levels of the entire group. He gives full confidence to all his
executives, is highly innovative and accredited with many of the new products, puts a lot of
emphasis on his research and development department, and truly cares for all his executive and
employee well-being. At the time of crisis, he took the lead in the terrorist attack in Taj Hotel
Mumbai. "Once 100 years later, I think the TATA Group is much larger than it is now. More
importantly, I hope that the group will be considered the best in India. The better way we work is
to produce better products and to be able to extend our wings far beyond India and our ethics
system. Ratan Tata's Tata is a revolutionary leader more traditionally("Theories of leadership in
Tata group," 2019). He turned Tata into a worldwide brand. In his organization, he inspired
others. The Tata Group leaders are involved in all stages of decision making. Ratan Tata
succeeded in inspiring optimistic group companies' CEO / MD. He has always followed an
ethical approach for community companies. The theories of leadership, which, I believe, better
fit Mr. Rata, are relationship theories, also known as transformation theories, based on the links
that have arisen between leaders and followers("Theories of leadership in Tata group," 2019).
Transformational leaders empower and encourage people to help the group's participants see the
importance and common benefit of the project. These leaders focus on the success of the group,
but also want every participant to realize their potential. Leaders often have high standards of
morals and ethics with this approach.
Five Models Factor (Big Five)
Running head:- Project 5
Emotional Stability: Ratan Tata has very little concern in him, and with his future leadership, he
has a great sense of security.
Extraversion: Ratan Tata is very social, even though he was a bachelor. His impact on TATA
Group's future leadership was very positive.
Openness: he trusts in originality and diversity. By making £1200/- he has shown considerable
confidence in charisma and creativity.
Agreeability: Ratan Tata is very trustworthy and polite within the management team.
Awareness: it is a very kind of devotion. He worked for the TATA Community most of his life
without purpose. He is coordinated very well.
TATA Group's Design (Compassion) Theory:
According to design theory, leadership styles are three forms apparent. This is how it is.
Autocracy
Democracy
Let us do it!
CEO of reliance
Leadership is the attribute that leads a leader to his highest achievement. Nobody will
practice and apply the skills of leadership in real life. Mukesh Ambani is a prime example of a
great leader with strengths and abilities for administration. The corporate tycoon Mukesh
Dhirubhai Ambani is Chairman, Managing Director, and Reliance Industries Limité, the biggest
shareholder. Reliance Industries (RIL), under Mukesh Ambani, has been by market value the
second most valuable firm in India. The firm owns 44.7 percent of stakes in the Mukesh
Dhirubhai Ambani. The company was inherited by Mr. Ambani (CEO of Reliance Industries
Ltd.), his brother Anil from their father and then started to diversify it. He began his entry into

yarn production from scratch. The license was easy to obtain, but the hard thing was to manage
and operate the business. Mr. The Mukesh found that nobody could depend on the new market
for reliance("Mukesh Ambani as a leader, leadership style, leadership qualities," 2018). Experts
were hired, and services were built to create a business-friendly environment. At a very young
age, Mukesh Ambani entered the company of his father ("10 success lessons from Mukesh
Ambani - "Wealthiest man in India" for entrepreneurs - KnowStartup," 2016). In 1986 he lost his
uncle and his father's business partner Rasikbhai, followed by Dhirubhai Ambani's stroke within
five months after the death of his uncle when he was still learning the complexities in the
business. At a time when America was still a License Raj nation, Ambani then took his father's
place and led the company forward. When it comes to the search for new businesses, Mukesh
Ambani holds his eyes wide open. Your world is still beautiful to understand. A niche product
may have been produced. Mukesh Ambani has also given the lesson regarding the team. That
how one can be in the squad for a longer time. How can one work together in the group for a
long time? Be for your colleagues. Be there with your community. The experts are comfortable.
Training, studying, training. For this, it is never too late. Whenever you create trustworthy teams,
you contribute directly to your company profits every time you spend with them("Mukesh
Ambani as a leader, leadership style, leadership qualities," 2018).
Few of his leadership characteristics are:
With Feudal System Out: He realized that maybe the patriarchal system would be outdated and
needed to replace it with a new structure. The power in the hands of individual citizens was
useless, so the power was distributed over the network of individuals with other tasks. Any
second-rate coalition of companies. He remained to the best of the brightest(MensXP Team,
Running head:- Project 7
2010). The partnership between Dupont has been pursued at $5 million. Dupont has been given
to train youth. For business and industry, that was something new in India.
Aiming High: Taiwan and Korea have always been a priority for him at the polyester business.
Tata was the dominant force in the market at the time. He soon realized that the company's size
had to be huge to meet the target. Notwithstanding the license quota raj and the strangling ways,
Reliance polyester built a capacity of 75,000 tonnes. Then slavery occurred. The company has
leapfrogged into the output of 1 million tonnes. The falling rates were favorable. With
approximately 300 top-class managers saw the company gradually expand. The increase set a
world record, Mukesh's dream.
Expansion: Mr. Mukesh should look ahead and consider the companies that will change their
profile. Polyester has always been in the system, all petrochemical plastics, promising a future.
This was not just Indian expansion(MensXP Team, 2010). The planet was in it. The business
became what it is through a massive growth plan combined with immense cash flow: a
multinational empire of all steps.
Entrepreneurial and childhood business enthusiasts.
To dream of enormous challenges and welcome them.
To dream of enormous challenges and welcome them.
Effective use of human capital.
Interaction with young people. Interaction.
It is encouraging its brands in the region.
Mr. Ambani is best suited to the participatory theory of leadership. Participatory leadership
theories say that the optimal management style takes account of other people 's feedback. Such
leaders encourage the members of the community to engage in, contribute, and strengthen their
Running head:- Project 8
contribution to the decision-making process. However, the leader maintains the freedom to help
others to participate in participatory theories. Ambani said once that anyone without risks would
not develop significantly in their lives. And indeed, from the beginning of his career, he has
proved it. Yet his threats, as an adventure searcher, are calculative and do not like a player. He
knows his ambitions, and he is about to follow them. Mukesh's "rich man without a heart" has
been controversial, as his money has splashed on building Antilia and invested in the IPL cricket
team ("Leadership qualities and skills of Mukesh Ambani," 2020). But Mukesh does what he
feels right, and most of the time, it turns out it's the right thing to do.
Mr. Mukesh Ambani can find three types of leadership models. That's how it is.
Leadership Transactional
Leadership Strategies
I am letting go!
He's very excited. He is also instantly searching for options. He said followers were expected
to follow the leaders.
Tata is known as a company for people, and Reliance Industries is known to be a place to
learn many things, but you prefer to move quickly. There are no successful leaders, in my
opinion. An effective leader is, who can benefit from a company but still work for the
enhancement of its employees. His humility was a feature of Tata, which he had when in 1961,
he joined the Tata Group. He began shooting calcareous and handling the blowing oven on the
Tata Steel shop floor, as he tried to understand the company and its values. The management of
Tata is respected worldwide and is emphasized by the many prestigious awards given to him.
Conclusion
Running head:- Project 9
Ratan Tata succeeded in continuing Tata 's legacy as the company of the people. Mr. Ratan
Tata revolutionized the industry by focusing on high-tech goods. He has extended the
international portfolio of the company by purchasing well-known brands. Though Mukesh
Ambani succeeded in increasing its success from the same low-performance business, it was
investing in an innovative 4-g network, cheap data schemes, etc.
They both are good managers as the brand image of the business can be improved by both.
