ANCOVA, MANOVA, and Regression Guide

Multiple regression allows predicting an outcome (dependent variable) from several predictor (independent) variables. It provides statistics on the overall model fit (R and R2) and significance of each predictor's contribution. MANOVA is used when there are multiple dependent variables, considering their relationships simultaneously, rather than in separate analyses. ANCOVA combines ANOVA and regression, measuring group differences while controlling for a known confounding covariate.
