tes during the break (especially in warm weather), pump the concrete forwards and thеп draw it back into
~\
the hopper to keep it moving and "wоrkаЫе".

7. During pump орегайоп, рау constant attention to:

- Hydraulic oil pressure (if pressure is higher Ihan 90 % of maximur.(l valve setting, reduce the stroking
speed 01 the pump and improve ccncrete pumpabllity if роssiЫе)
Hydraulic oi/ temperature
Truck (engine) temperatura
Level 01 water in water Ьох (drain water if dirty and refill)
Machine stabllity (outriggers not sagging)
Agitator function (rocks might jam the agitator Ь/аdеs, if 50, shift briefly to "reverse")

Description

The outriggers, turret and the individual arms of the distributor Ьоот аге constructed of Ьох sections of
highgrade, fine-grain 5teel.

The linkage geometry of the Ьоот arms make it роssiЫе to bring the Ьооm into the best possihIe po5ition
for distributing the concrete. .

The outriggers have Ьееп designed to ensure the 5tahility аnd steadiness needet during operation.

The Ьоот сап Ье equ ipped with either а 100 mт, 120 mт ог 125 тm slickline which is made up of
standard 90' bends and 5traight pipes for ease of replacement when woгn.
\

Snap couplings аге used to connect the individual pipes/bends and to act as rotary joints. The slickline and
с, -..,. the end hose аге designed for operating ргеввшев of up to 80 Ьаг.

AII Ьоогп functions аге powered hydraulically. The Ьооm cylinder5 have safety valves (fitted directly to the
cylinders) to hold the Ьооm in case of а hose bursting, and to protect the system against overload.

The outrigger cylinders аге locked using pilot-controlled check valves (integrated into the cylinders).

The actuation speeds of the Ьоот cylinders аге matched to опе апофег and peгm~ several arms to Ье
actuated simultaneously.

The hydraulic control Ыосk for the Ьоот functions сап Ье actuated manually, electricaHy, electro-
pneumatically ог electro-hydraulically.

АН Ьоот movements сап Ье called up using either the remote control ог !he (optional) radio remote control.

Pump drive

- Pump operation

When the.concrete pump is fitted with а transfer shift (splitter) Ьсх, а pneumatic cylinder is used {о engage
the pump drive. Sufficient air pressure must Ье ауаilаЫе in the truck's receiver то allow the cylinder to Ье
actuated. With the truck ignition ON but wi1h the engine stopped, shift the switch in the саЬ 10 "Ршпр орега-
tion". The tell-tale light then comes оп. Depress Ihe clulch pedal and start the truck engine. Engage the
relevant gear range (for 1:1 direct drive) and allow the clulch to engage.

When the concrete pump is dгivеп from.the truck Р.Т.О., refer to the instructions contained in the truck's
instruction manual.

IV. Pump operation

Engaging pump drive

When the concrete pump is fitted with а transrer shift (splitter) Ьох, а рпецгпайс cylinder is used to engage
the pump drive. Sufficient air pressure must Ье ауаilаЫе in the truck's receiver to allow the cylinder to Ье

Description
-
REICH concrete pumps аге hydraulically driven, fully hydraulically согшойес twin-cylinder pumps with ап S-
type swing tube. They сап pump concrete with тах. grain size of up to 60 тт. Because of the special
sealing of the swing tube, they сап also Ье used to pump other pumpable substances such as screed,
гпопаг, sludge, water etc.
REICH lruсk-mоuпtеd concrete pumps have all о! their systems (including the Ьоот) mounted оп а sub-
иагпе which is Ьolted to the truck chassis. Primary drive is provided Ьу the truck епgiпе.
REICH trailer concrete pumps аге driven either Ьу а diesel engine ог ап electric motor.

Function of the conrete pump battery

--_.:-+
~--
~__ :1.

Concrete is drawn out of the hopper (5) Ьу the intake pis10n (3) in10 1he de!ivery cylinder (1). А! the same
шпе, the other piston (4) pumps concrete out of the cylinder. (2) and through the S tube (6) into the slickline
