"Welcome to Kazahana"
Hi there folks, good ole G-Force is here to explain the gripping and exciting world that
is Kazahana. For a newcomer to this widely imaginative project the experience can
prove to be a bit overwhelming and one can easily make mistakes in these areas and
get a bit discouraged and leave which is a shame. Taking part in this massive
collaboration is a thrill in its own that should be experienced an hopefully this guide
will make things a lot less confusing for you.
Ok first off you should know who oversees the Kazahana world what their duties and
specialties are. If you have any questions/concerns/comments about the project then
don’t hesitate to ask us as we’ll gladly help.
Steven Lim: One of the founders of Lifepoint1. Moderates the message boards.
Max Mao: The other founder of Lifepoint1. Max watches over the project as a whole and
decides which characters can be considered “official.”
Edwyn: Produces audio productions and helps with scripts.
Mei-Fei: Creator of the Kazahana Character Chart that contains vital information for project
authors
G-Force: Your humble guide writer. I answer questions on the submission process,
moderate the character boards and write the profiles on the main page.
loempiavreter: Moderates the Kazahana Features thread
Now, you know who’s who when it comes to the Kazahana crew as a whole but you
came here to understand how to submit your work. Well I’m not the type of person to
disappoint so let’s get started!
You can contribute to Kazahana in one of three ways: make a project, create a
character or do both. By definition these catagories are as follows...
Regular Project: A finished piece that uses existing Kazahanas
Character Creation: Making a new character to add to the official cast
Character-Based Project: A submission that contains your character
In order for a character to be considered official they must either star in a project or
be heavily involved in another author’s submission. For example, let’s say I wanted to
create a character named Bob Kazahana who’s a regular plumber. If I wanted Bob to
be on the main page I must either make a piece about him or do something where he’s
interacting with the other cast members such as him fixing Shyuuhei’s toilet.
When you have your character and your project in your mind its time to let the rest of
the forum know of their existence. There’s a specific thread where you can post your
character’s profile If you wish to know the preferred format for your Kazahana’s bio
read my other guide on this subject. Please remember that this particular thread if for
characters only and no discussions. The character section of the forum can also be
used to ask people on how to improve your current designs and fix aspects of their
stories in an open discussion. Many people at Lifepoint1 are willing to help so just ask.

page and vice versa as to let people know who they’re reading about. Also, when you
do create a new thread for your submission please show that some progress in your
project has been made on the first post. We’re not asking for anything complete at this
early stage but please show us something that illustrates that some progress has been
made on your part. These things included but are not limited to: concept art, rough
drawings, chapter’s in progress, outlines etc. Do not be intimidated by the other users
around you. We here at Lifepoint1 reward effort above everything else. If you show
that you’re giving it your all and really invested a lot of time, energy and love into your
submission then chances are your entree will be made official.
Well I hope this introductory guide has outlined the core essentials of the Kazahana
world. I hope you walk away from this eager and determined to add yet another layer
to this complex story. Remember, this is all done in good fun which is what we all value
the most. As long as your having a good time and are following the rules and guidelines
I mentioned before you’ll be just fine.
Happy creating!
