EGT3 - 4.4 - Reported Speech

The document discusses reported speech and how the tense changes depending on the reporting verb. There are two cases - when there is no change of tense if the reporting verb is in the present, present perfect, or future tense. When the reporting verb is in a past tense, the tense in the reported statement changes accordingly. The document provides examples of changing direct speech to reported speech to illustrate these two cases.
