It aims to ensure that the school promulgate a zero tolerance policy for any act of child
abuse, exploitation, violence, discrimination, bullying and other forms of abuse.

Part II

NARRATIVE REPORT

1. INTRODUCTION

As per mandate of the Department of Education, the state shall defend the right of
children to assistance, including proper care and nutrition, and special protection from all
forms of neglect, abuse, cruelty, exploitation and other conditions prejudicial to their
development. (Art. XV sec.3(b). 1987 Philippine Constitution.

The DepEd shall ensure that our schools are conducive to the education of children. The
best interest of the child shall be the paramount consideration in all decisions and actions
involving children. Teachers are their substitute parents and are expected to discharge their
functions and duties with this in mind.

2. NARRATION OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE


TRAINING/ ACTIVITY MATRIX/ SCHEDULE

The scheduled activity for the day started with the registration of the participants. A
prayer and the singing of the national anthem opened the program. Afterwards the proponent
was introduced to the group by the school principal, Mrs. Analyn M. Gumangan. Mrs, Arceli
P. Misa, the proponent, started off by orienting the participants on her objectives and what she
hopes the participants could learn from her. She gave her overview on the assigned topic. An
active interaction was noted during her talk with the group.
Mrs. Marmila M. Fruto discussed excellently her topic” The Functions of Child
Protection Policy (CPC) followed by Mrs. Liza M. Bada explained clearly her assigned topic
“The Prohibited Acts. Lastly, our young and knowledgeable principal discussed the “Duties
and Responsibilities of the School”. LAC Sessions were done smoothly and successfully.

1. INTRODUCTION/RATIONALE/OBJECTIVES

Every teacher needs supplies and resources in order to have a successful classroom.
Instructional materials are the tools used in educational lessons, which includes active
learning and assessment. Thus the training workshop on instructional materials was
conducted to give the needed knowledge and help them optimize learning and challenge
them to innovate, localize/indigenize the Ims, to respond to the needs of their
clienteles..their pupils.

2. NARRATION OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE


TRAINING/ ACTIVITY MATRIX/ SCHEDULE
The scheduled topic on the second day of MPRE was about the preparation of
Instructional Materials based on the least learned skills of 1 st and 2nd Quarter of the academic
year. The resource speaker of the day were Mrs. Geny Zarate and Mrs. Marmila M. Fruto.
A morning program opened the days’ activity. An orientation about the day’s topic was
given by the principal, Mrs. Anabel C. Mendi. The teacher - participants were asked to choose
one subject and asked them to identify the least learned skills of their pupils. The resource
speakers discussed to the group the importance of instructional materials and some strategies
on making them. Some examples of Ims were also shown to the group. Each teacher was
asked to make their own intructional materials as their output on the said training.

1. NARRATION OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH


THE TRAINING/ ACTIVITY MATRIX/ SCHEDULE

Every year Mid-Year Program Review and Evaluation (MPRE) conducted


activities to achieve the objectives of the MPRE. School head and teachers of
Lucapon South E/S plan for the five day activities. This MPRE was held on October
21 -25, 2019.

The first scheduled activity of MPRE was the checking of teachers’ school
forms. Mrs. Analyn M. Gumangan, our school principal assigned the following
teachers in checking the school forms; Mrs. Arceli P. Misa,
Mrs. Minimo and Mrs. Geny A. Zarate were assigned to checked Forms in
Kindergarten to Grade III and Mrs. Marmila M. Fruto, Mrs. Liza M. Bada and Mrs.
Marites De Guzman were checked Grade IV to VI forms.

Each teacher was asked to submit the said forms and with our hardworking
principal, checking of forms were successfully done.
