Smart Task 01

Project Topic : Project Finance - Modeling and Analysis

✔ Intern should study and understand the basic concepts and terminologies of module 1 of
their project before attempting this smart task. (h​ ttps://techvardhan.com/study​ ).

✔ It’s a theoretical task where Intern needs to write the answers of the questions mentioned
in the smart task in their own words, as per their understanding.

✔ Copying of answers from the internet or from other interns is NOT allowed. But, interns
can take references from authentic sources from the internet.

✔ Intern can ask their conceptual doubts in understanding of any topic to their mentor. But,
Instructions they are not supposed to ask the answers of the questions of the smart task.

✔ The answers of the task questions should and must be in text format (MS Word). Don’t add
images, tables and videos in that.

✔ The answer of each question won’t be longer than 500 words.

✔ The evaluation of the task submitted will be done by the quality of professionalism in the
answers. Copying of the tasks submitted by other interns is NOT allowed.

1. What is Finance? How Finance is different from Accounting? What are important basic
points that should be learned to pursue a career in finance?

2. What is project finance? How is project finance different from corporate finance? Why can’t
we put project finance under corporate finance?

3. Define 20 terminologies related to project finance.

5. Explain in detail with reasons of what the sectors are or which type of projects are suitable
