Dear Ma’am:
I am writing to convey my interest in applying as a tutor in your school. Last June 2018, I had
my degree in Bachelor of Elementary Education major in Generalist. And I already passed the
Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers with a rating of 80.80%. I am confident that
you will find my unwavering commitment to education, excellent organization skills, solid
instructional methods and hands-on experience will be a positive asset to your school.
As well-rounded educator, I had the chance to teach a diverse group of students. I have gained in
depth knowledge of accommodating different styles of learners and incorporating effective
methods to meet student’s needs. I have rendered a service in an elementary school as a
substitute teacher for months, also a homebased tutor and currently taking my Master’s Degree.
I encourage students learning by incorporating creative learning center, various forms of
technology, hands-on activities and fun manipulative. These methods prove to stimulate
student’s social, emotional, physical and academic growth. In addition, I utilize these strategies
to introduce new concepts, establish connection between classroom and everyday life, foster an
exciting and engaging atmosphere and teach fundamental skills.
My greatest capability is cultivating and sustaining strong working relationships with all
members of the school community. I also collaborate with fellow teachers to develop new
activities, implement beneficial resources and refine teaching techniques. Furthermore, I
establish a good rapport with all students and make certain that they receive sufficient praise and
positive reinforcement.
I would enjoy the opportunity to meet you personally to discuss my qualification and credentials
in further details. Thank you. God bless!
Respectfully yours,
