SHACKLE-FREE ATTACHMENT
Distance of Mooring Buoy from the quay = length of boat + triple water depth F = L + 3× H
– Quick and easy to install; Length of chain for Mooring Buoy = maximum water depth + 1 m E = Hmax + 1 m
– Fitted with hot dipped M22 bolt. Length of chain for Open Sea Mooring Buoy = minimum triple water depth E = 3× H

Values provided in the table apply to normal conditions only. Add additional weight in the case of unprotected
mooring point.
MantaRay or Screw Pile anchoring systems may be used instead of a concrete anchor.
The Mooring Buoy should not be sunk below 2/3 of its height upon mooring.
The condition of chain and shackles of the Mooring Buoy are checked upon installation and annually thereafter.
