Dear Atty.:

I am writing to express my desire to apply in your esteemed Office for the position of
PAO Lawyer I. I have always had a strong interest in both the law and public service.
I am convinced that the position I am applying for will afford me with sufficient
opportunity to practice my chosen profession, serve with public, and achieve a
greater sense of purpose.

I recently passed the November 2017 Bar Examinations and was admitted as
member of the Philippine Bar on June 20, 2018. I am also humbled to say that I am
a Registered Nurse.

As to my work experiences, I was previously employed at the Bureau of Jail


Management and Penology-ARMM and have whole-heartedly served them for almost
eight (8) years. I have been designated as their Hearing and Paralegal Officer as well
as Regional Investigator. Currently, I am the Head of the Legal Section/Legal Officer
of the Department of Health – Center for Health Development Regional Office 12.

I am public service oriented and I want to engage in legal practice in a community


that is professionally enhancing and personally nurturing. I believe that the Public
Attorney’s Office is the true embodiment of lawyering as a public service because it is
very responsive to the growing needs of cash disadvantaged and underprivileged
litigants. Hence, I wish to express my desire to apply as Public Attorney.

I hope that you will give me the opportunity to showcase everything that I can offer
in the field of public service. Thank you for your kind attention.
