A. Rationale

Globally, youth programs promote resiliency factors, which allow minority youth to
respond to — and hopefully overcome — major challenges in their lives, including the
social determinants of health. Social factors like poor education, lack of health
insurance, dysfunctional social and family support systems, poverty, language barriers,
teen pregnancy, and other problems can undermine good health.

B. Description

The SK LOWER BICUTAN LIGA 2019 will be organized by the Sangguniang


Kabataan Officials headed by SK Chairman Denn Michael “Dingdong” Bahan and
will be coordinated with Barangay Lower Bicutan Council headed by the Barangay
Chairman Hon. Roel “Weng” Pacayra. The event will be run for the whole month of
September. The participants of this event come from different youth organizations,
youth volunteers and youth frontliners of Barangay Lower Bicutan.

Through the conduct of this activity, the participants will be able to:
