1. Original: Unlike the old-fashioned definition, figurative language cannot be
considered as "any deviation, either in thought or expression, from the ordinary and
simple method of speaking," but a kind of fresh and artistic usage which makes it
different from common usage.
Paraphrased with intext citation: The old- definition of figurative language cannot be
described as it's new definition where unlike before it was considered as " any
deviation, either in thought or expression, form the ordinary and simple method of
speaking". Now it is defined as the use of language with a touch of firm and
creativity that is far way different from the usual practice (Roodi and Farahmandfar
5).

emphasizes the importance of answering questions like how, what, when, and where
rather than focusing on why (Blog, Formplus).

specific subgroup within the population. This technique is useful in such researches
because it ensures the presence of the key subgroup within the sample.
Paraphrased in-text citation: The researcher used stratified random sampling because
it aims to emphasize a specific subgroup within the population. The technique also
includes the presence of the key subgroup within the sample which makes it very useful
for researchers (Garduque 36).
