I think the major task Quality, quantity, delivery, cost, timely, production planning, production control,
and production supervision is more important in production management.
Production Management is a process that involves managing and controlling production activities of the
business. It involves the application of management principles to the production function of the business
to increase productivity. Production management applies planning, directing, organizing, and controlling
for managing production operations.
Quality
Quality is an important issue in terms of any services or products. With the high market competition,
high-quality has come to be the marketplace differentiator for almost all products and services. Quality
manipulate is essential to constructing a successful business that can provide merchandise that meets or
exceed customers’ expectations.
We can improve the quality in different ways as quality refers to the features of products, operation
performance, product functions, etc. Quality management is to improve those features related to products.
Delivery
1. Customers expect the correct product assortment and quantity to be delivered.
2. Customers expect products to be available at the right location.
3. Production and delivery are complex systems: Time is valuable, Match demand and supply
4.Right Delivery Time – Customers expect products to be delivered on time
