SUMMARY
The project on “A COMPARATIVE STUDY ON HUMAN CAREER
PLANNING OF IT SECTORS: WITH REFERENCE TO THE CITY OF
MANGALURU” gives us the picture regarding the career planning of IT
employees in the organizations. The project report contains of five chapters.
The first chapter gives brief introduction to entire project work by
providing information about the various IT sectors, objectives, needs for the
study, research methodology, limitations of the study, social relevance of the
study and chapter wise division on the project work.
The second chapter provides information about the human career planning
that is been obtained from various journals and books of Human resource
management.
The third chapter deals with the profile of Study area. This deals with
introduction, history and economy of Mangaluru city.
The fourth chapter gives the data analysis and interpretation of the
employees of various IT sectors in the city of Mangaluru.
The fifth chapter deals with the findings and suggestions of human career
planning of employees. It also gives the overall conclusions from the survey
conducted in the city of Mangaluru.
